I agree, the east just got a little more interesting.
How do you figure the C's into the equation with a healthy Garnett this next season to come?
That's a great question because it depends IF Garnett is capable of being %100 again. The proposed trade rumors for Rondo intregue me, because Garnett's injury allowed him to rise to all-star level play. If they can keep the core of their team in tact, I think Doc Rivers is as good as any coach in the game and could lead them to another title.

Depth is going to be an issue with the Celtics. They may lose House and Powe. Depth was their great asset last season.

This is GREAT news for the HEAT. Shaq will make Cleveland worse rather then better. Now if the HEAT can upgrade we will be back into the finals!
I mentioned that Carlos Boozer is a restricted free. He has a home in Miami and loves it there. Problem is the Heat's first round choice Michael Beasley was supposed to be a star in waiting who did not produce as advertised. It will be interesting to see if they could aquire Boozer, then shift Beasley to the three. Tyson Chandler is also out there to be had.

Bottom line... The Heat need to get younger and and stay big on the low block. Jermaine O'neal is a shell of the athlete he was just a few years ago, but the aquisition of Boozer would actually make him more effective as Boozer would command more double teams.

I don't care about Shaq going to Cleveland. He and Lebron will eventually clash and wimpy Mike Brown will be fired. Shaq only respects big name coaches and Shaq will tire of the way Lebron runs that team while Brown is on cruise control. This team will really get volatile if they add Rasheed Wallace as well. All I can say is "Fire down below".

Rasheed rumors out there again? I can't get a visual of him in Cleveland. Cavs/Pistons rivalry go back aways and watching him get ejected in a playoff series keeps being replayed in my mind. I thought that rumor died with the Carlos rumor.

Um, too little too late with Shaq. He's past his prime. He'll sell tickets for Cleveland though but not produce a ring.
