Who needs LeBron James when the Cavaliers have Ira Newble. And Sasha Pavlovic. And Zydrunas Ilgauskas' passing wizardry. Full Story

It's nights like these with LeBron out that you can see all the great coaching Mike Brown has done with this club. The defense he's preached all season was outstanding and led to a lot of easy transition baskets. Well coached teams can get by without their star for a few games. Of course team was also shooting out of its mind, but when their 19 point lead was shaved down to 11, they were able to push it back out with excellent execution on both ends. Even Z got into act! Great team effort from a supporting cast that gets no respect from the national media.

Mike Bibby was awful and disinterested. I'm glad the trade didn't happen. Typical overpaid NBA veteran. Who needs that?

GREAT JOB IRA!
Ira's a great player and Coach Brown should play him more!
I emailed Coach Brown about a month ago and asked why he wasn't playing Ira and that the team and fans need him back on the court. I never received a response! Oh well, Ira showed them last night!!!:0)
GO CAVS!

The Cavs' performances minus LeBron should tell the team something -- that being, something is amiss when he IS there.

No question he's a superior talent, one of the best in the league. But it's clear what needs to change when he's on the court:

a.) He needs to stop standing around the perimeter on offense, and use his overpowering talents to go to the hoop.

b.) His teammates need to stop standing around and watching him stand around. Quit being so deferential. Play like the points depend on you, not him. If he stands around, play on.

Good Lord, I'm just a two-bit observer, but isn't this pretty obvious? Take that group of involved, talented players we saw on Tuesday night, and add an involved, slashing, playmaking LeBron to the mix, and this team is a title contender, no question.

But keep standing around, and watch those hopes slip away.

I'm Ira Newble's personal chef and after almost a year and a half of not seeing him play, I can't tell you how pumped I was not only for Ira to get some play time but for him to hit 3-pointers like they were nothing! Top the night off with 12 points and 7 rebounds and he definitely gets an extra special meal when he returns from Memphis!!!! Go Cavs!

Can anyone figure out how the Cavs have been able to win 10 of 12 games w/out LBJ the past few yrs.
It's hard to make sense of it !

Hey Cousy -- I can't figure it out myself. Do you remember possees, limo's, personal trainers, interview staging, overexposure, personal chefs,
tennis shoe ads, gaurtd. bonuses/contracts before proving ourselves, media/fans hanging-on to our every frivilous word, weird music/intros, corporate seats, cost per game too high for the avg. fan, homer tv/radio commentators, etc, etc, etc. It almost encourages me to attempt a comeback OR just PUKE !!!
