Start Brown (or even Newble). Newble can take Brown's role off the bench.

Please don't play Shannon Brown-he's no good and we've already given him plenty of minutes....haven't we?

What are you smoking Zed? He hasn't played since Lebron was hurt. Look at Shannon's numbers when he did play. He played fine.

I say you start Newble or Shannon Brown, and keep everyone else's roles the same. That way the rotation, which finally is set and working really doesn't change.

We shall see!

Neither of these two losers will help the Cavs while Sasha is out with his foot. Increase Gibson's time and see if he really is the second coming of Mark Price. Just when things were looking good, another injury that will hurt because the team because cheap a$$ Ferry doesn't have good backups on the bench.

i say you leave the bench alone. Sasha may have been "coming around" but his production wasn't near what it was the second half of last season. Throw newble in their and we get even better defensively, newble shooting the long ball better than pavs too. We will miss pavs, even though he was in a larry hughes-like shooting slump, teams still respected his shot. Shannon Brown is a good idea for two reasons, 1) He gets yet another chance to prove he can contribute on this team and 2) He could increase his trade value before the deadline and help land us a pg or other help. I like devin brown coming off the bench. If the bench aint broke, don't try to fix it. Throw newble or brown in there.

I think that Mike Brown should insert Shannon Brown into the starting lineup so as to not interrupt the rotation of the bench. Shannon really hasn't had a chance to showcase his abilities, and coach Brown gave Sasha the same time even when he was struggling before his recent surge. Shannon is a first round choice that really needs to get his confidence right now. He could be the one player that becomes the Robin to Batman (LeBron). I'd hate to see him traded or lost to another team only to come back and hurts us without getting a fair opportunity here. It happened with Kapono, remember?

when given a chance to start when lebron was ijured didnt he score 34 points in a game. i would start brown to keep the bench bunch rotation going. newble should get a few minutes as long as he doesnt jake 3 pointers everytime he gets the ball.

Any chance this means Shannon Brown sees a few minutes in the rotation now?

Drinking while blogging will simply make you sound more stupid than you already are. Once again you have nothing to offer except your usual doom and gloom diatribe.

I'm in favor of giving Shannon Brown a chance, and leaving the bench rotation alone.

2nd choice would be Newble for his defense and long-range shooting; this would also not upset the current 9-man rotation.

I would like Shannon Brown in there but it's probably not going to happen because when he's played (very seldom) he's sometimes out of control and turns the ball over. Devon Brown is solid I guess if he refrains from being jumper happy like Larry Hughes. Keep Gibson on the bench because he's an offensive threat for the second unit which the Cavs need! Ira Newble is probably a good guy and all but he needs to stay on the bench because he stinks! Besides Eric Snow needs some company.

what scares me anout sasha going down is the affect it will have on the rotation. mike b is finally learning how to rotate players in effectively so this hurts. i would probably be inclined to put shannon in for a couple games. i'd like to keep devin brown in with the second unit since he's doing so well. if shannon doesn't work out i think we need to go to devin as a starter. people hate ira but he does defend pretty well. i give him and damon increased minutes to soften the blow. ira plays with the agreement that all he does is rebound and play d. absolutely no jump shots. i really don't think people can complain about damon though. he's doing an excellent job right now.

Sasha will be missed while he's out, but once he's back healthy and back in the game, he will be a major contributor, as always.
