"he laid down the gauntlet"? Who was the editing wizard who let that one go through?

I'll lay down the gauntlet right here and now. Is there anyone on the planet who hasn't heard that phrase before? Oh, yeah. Huh! Go back to school and read a few books, yon neophytic intellectual wannabe!

Remember that time the Cavs made it to the NBA finals with Hughes in the starting lineup...?

As for Hughes. Start him. If he's not being productive, reduce his minutes. Simple! Just remember that it's not all about scoring. Hughes is a past NBA All-Defensive 1st teamer. If we hear Ronstadt singing Blew By You in the first quarter, he sits.

Can he put his best foot forward as he walks towards the end of the bench in street clothes?

Larry Hughes has been hurting this team all season not just now.I thought his injury would sit him down and maybe think about giving back some of that money he stoled with ferry help.hes not a starter or starter material and cant handle the ball under pressure.all larry can do is shoot us out of games listen you bum go home and dont return to cleveland every team you played for got rid of you and didnt want you back gibson has earned a starting spot so coach brown do the right thing also run run run thats the only way we can win go cavs make cleveland proud

How HUGE is this game tonight! A win would set up a possible 4-1 Cavs' win in the series! Just a terribly important game. The next 3 are home games. It's there for the taking!

Hughes helped us get here, did you forget already? He's a veteran player and deserves to play in the post season. Don't watch, you don't deserve to.

Well I am sure all of you are watching this massacre.
There are about 2 seconds left in the first half and the Cavs look clueless.
They are being out-coached, out-defended, and out-rebounded.
It looks as if they didn't even prepare for the game.
Obviously they did prepare, but come on being down by 30 points in the FIRST HALF of the NBA Finals is a little excessive.
The only adjustment that Mike Brown has made so far is backing off of Tony Parker and he still has a dozen points.
Lebron has tried to step it up but layups and jumpers are not rolling his way while every good break seems to be on the Spurs side of the court.
I have no idea what happened.
The Spurs came prepared and the Cavs did not.
The Cavs need to put it all out on the floor.
They are getting beat to lose balls and rebounds which they normally pull down with ease.
The Spurs are hungrier.
They have been to this point in the playoffs many times before and are showing the Cavs how you must play to win a championship.
What does Mike Brown tell his players in the locker room?
You can't say, "okay fellas let's get it down to 10 points by the fourth quarter."
Maybe if it was a 20 point deficit, but not THIRTY!
Brown needs to let Lebron have the ball and let him work on San Antonio's defense for the entire second half.
Maybe he can crack the code and take something positive back to Cleveland.
I am an optimistic Cavs fan but this game is already over.
The Spurs are an amzing team.

U Cavs are such dingleberries. Don't try to make a comeback at the end of the game. Ya shoulda done that a lot sooner. Spurs are tuff and know how to score. U guys shouldn't have let them go up thirty. Yea u guys are good enuff to make a come back but Womanu Ginobli was able to ice the game. You guys wanna leave another mark in history by going down 0-2 and then coming back to win the series? This team is a lot faster than Detroit and don't lose their composure. Yea Detroit is still a talented ball club but the guys are older and it factors in. Beat these cats at home. I don't know if u can do it 3 straight but it ain't impossible. Lebron, I wanna see sum more moves out there. Make the Spurs worry a bit. Either the Spurs were to relaxed and let u guys make a comeback or the Cavs are just that good of a team.

Hughes is hurting. He can't move they way he can when healthy. If coach brown won't bench him for the better of the team, then hughes should sit himself down. I know its the finals and he wants to be on the floor, but he's hurting our chances. In my opinion, Gibson matches up the best against parker(who's been killing us). and we have Snow's D to spell him when needed. Hughes, i love you but you are killing our chances playing with this serious injury.
