If Lebron develops a jump hook on the box....it's game OVER. He'll be almost unguardable at SF. He'll blow past bigger guys...and take smaller guys to the post. It's a scary thought....him and a jump hook.

A$$ LeBron James needs to work on his outside jumper and foul shooting. Both showed as his weaknesses in last year's finals.

However, since Ferry & Subprime Mortgage Loser Gilbert have decided not to sign Varejao and Pavlovic, it probably doesn't matter.

The Cavs at best will be a .500 team, and maybe not even make the playoffs.

Why are all the Cleveland loser teams afraid to spend money to get to the promised land - CHAMPIONSHIP ?

Mike Brown was too stupid to draw up plays for LeBron to take Bowen down low (where its harder to get double teamed and triple teamed). Also, if LeBron does draw double and triple teams down low, there will always be two to three guys wide open for the three point shot.

BTW: Donyell Marshall should be suspended from the NBA for falsifying his identity as a real nba player.

Old Man,

You sure are grumpy! Be easy baby. How can you really think the team tat won the Eastern Conference CHAMPIONSHIP fall that far south in one off season. Boston is much better. Detroit is still good. Chicago is an up and commer who just might be ready. Our Cavs are a strong team with a couple of holes. A tweak here or there and this team is in contention all over again. So have a cup of nice warm tea and soothe those old achey bones of yours. Everything will work out in the end. Have a pleasant day, sir.

If Z & Gooden have to play 35 minutes per game as Brown is talking, all is lost on big men. Z is 32, and in the last years of his playing days. Gooden hasn't ever been able to play that long without being winded ever. A$$ LeBron can't go 45 mintues a game, every game.

Sign the Wild Thing so we get some sanity on the Cavs bench and decent player. Bottom line is Gilbert lost his fortune in the subprime mortage mess and doiesn't have bucks to spend anymore no matter what he says.

Big fan of LBJ. Keep up the good work man. I seen you grow from your rookie year to what you are now, which is an offensive beast that can't be stopped by anyone. Seeing how your jumpshot has improved, there is no limit to what you can do. Bring home a ring this season.

I'd like to see Coach Brown let Ira Newble have some playing time this year. He's an excellent player. GO CAVS & #14!

Peace!

Simply put...the Cavs are in trouble this year without Sasha & Andy in their rotation. The bench is pathetic and cant score. The way things stand right now Lebron will not be able to carry this Team. If the Cavs don't sign these 2 guys, Lebron will be in New York in 2 years. Bet on it. The off season has been a major blunder for the Cavs in not only improving the team but signing their own guys. A future that seemed so bright will be nothing more than a "dim" lightbulb this year unless Cavs Management pulls a rabbit out of the hat and signs quality free agents instead of signing a bunch of 4th sringers that all play shooting guard, and cant shoot. We are a 3rd place team in the Central and maybe just maybe an 8th place seed in the playoffs. If we play .500 ball this year I would take it.

Not a happy fan right now.

Could there be more sets featuring a quintet of Sasha, James, Hughes, Gibson and a big like Drew or Andy? Imagine the difficulties opponents would have matching-up with such a lineup. Also, how about some package that essentially exchanges Damon Jones for Damon Stoudamire, no longer vital to Memphis' backcourt plans? In place of action, here are some thought-provoking proposals.
