Where are the Pioneer Press sports writers? Why are we reading articles from the Associated Press rather than our own reporters when the Wolves give the Lakers a run for their money and finally win a road game with Beasley going off for 42 points and nine rebounds!?!?!?!? Disgraceful!

B'easy was a joy to watch last night. He looked like a kid shooting hoops in the driveway. He hit from everywhere - left, right, center, in close, beyond the arc, driving the lane for a layup - he was everywhere! I'm glad I was able to watch that performance. Even Rambis was smiling during the press conference.

Love looked tired - which one can understand when you think of the load he carried the night before. Getting that large a body off the ground for all those rebounds has to be exhausting! Telfair looked great - maybe Magic's talk about playing for the team rather than individual stats or glory gave him something to think about and he took it to heart. Very few bad shots or passes the last two nights. He has a chance tor esurrect his career the next few weeks if he keeps up this level of play.

I was worried after the three blow-out games, but now I'm pretty excited! Go Wolves!

We need point guard help and I'm not feeling all this Sundiata Gaines talk. That guy couldn't play dead in a cowboy movie. Garrett Temple would be twice the player of anyone Minnesota brought in the other day. Waiver pickup??

The Wolves are finding out how hard they have to play to win games in the NBA.
This ain't college by a long shot.
They're finding out, and they're bringing their hard hats and lunch pails to work.
Now they have to learn to bring game every night.
Don't tell me the Lakers got to the top just because of talent. Most of the
talent you see on that squad is a result of toil and endurance. Kobe's an
anomaly (yet he works his tail off).

Keep working Wolves. Perseverance brings its own reward.

Win one lose seven--another 15-20 win season. I wouldn't go to a game if you paid me

You need help son, this team is pathetic and will struggle to win more games than last year. The Timberwolves are a doomed franchise

Can I pay you to stop writing bullsh!t? You don't like the Wolves, yet take the time to write that you have no interest in watching them. I'm a season ticket holder not because I thought they would have a great season but because I like basketball and being around the game.

It's fine to hate on the Wolves, but you just seem to be bitter against them for no good reason.

Have a lovely day.

Billy K - Aren't you just a little ray of sunshine! Why don't you go find some little kid and take away his toys? That should cheer you up! If all you can do is yap about how you hate the Wolves - fine - just go do it somewhere else. Let the rest of us have a little fun posting about what WE enjoy. Go hate around someone else.

I saw Beasley against the Lakers and I was impressed. I really didn't like the guy, but watching him that game and then against Sactown, maybe he can be a franchise player?? In a way he looks unstoppable like all great players. Hopefully his mental problems are behind him. A lot of wasted draft picks with this team and with so many top notch players available last year that sure does make it difficult to succeed.
