The team has two of the greatest players that have ever laced up sneaks. Get rid of Ricky (I wish I was Sprewell) Davis and broke down Jason (NeverwasBobCousey) Williams. Get us a third, to go with these two great players. Chris Brown rocked tonight, smelled like a Kiss concert back in the day.

If we were asked in 2005 if we'd accept a scenario where we won the championship in 2006 and be lottery bound in 2008; we'd ALL accept that deal. Just pop in the 2006 Finals DVD and enjoy.

This falls fully on Riley as both coach and team president. The man's a legend but something is not right. I just wish we could get rid of Shaq somehow. I'm guessing now as a Heat fan all there is to do is watch college basketball and see who we are taking.

Something big has to be comming. Love him or hate him, we all know Riley has to be plotting something.

Hopefully it's his retirement.

More likely we'll end up trading middling players for another set of middling players. Maybe we'll make the playoffs this season; but expect the same crud next season and the next unless our two HOFers retire early.

Just please don't trade Haslem....

Sorry but I dont get it. Is Riley in denial about the team he put together? Did he actually think that the off season moves(or lack of them) that he made or couldn't make, were sufficient to compete on a regular basis. Way before the season I could see this team was gonna be weak. Shaq faded real fast as a top flight player because all he had was the power game and Stern has seen fit to compromise that to specifically stifle Riley. teams at bay.

The Heat has to turn around the season. I dont know how but they have to. They have to get a gameplan and stick with it. If Riley wants to play the half court game they must stick with it. But to all the Heat fans quit blaming Shaq for the demise. Yea he had 5 points but he shot 4 times what do any of you expect. I watch the games but they do not give him the ball in position. And the he has been playing D as Riley ask and been rebounding lately.

But why isnt any of you blaming Wade and the other perimeter players. Every team the Heat played the guards killed them. Andre Igoudala owned Wade tonight and even Lil Louis Williams even had his way. Heat Fans if shaq went off the books we will still suck. Tell me when was the last game the Heat lost because of the post play of the opposing team??? Wake up Miami it aint Shaq its your guards and I love Wade but he cant guard a anyone. He gets killed every night.

Wade cant carry this team to a .500 record? Wade is not a franchise player, then.

Wades selfish play and turnover problems are costing this team.

Wade is not playing winning basketball.

Wade has so many turnovers because he looks around and there is nothing there, they are all gone or done! Losing Posey was huge and would like to see Damon Jones back shooting threes! He is riding the Cavs bench, make a move Riley!

When you're 8-21, there's more than enough blame to go around. Let's start with Riley. He brings Wade back too quick last year and ends up costing us a possible series win vs the Bulls. Let's not forget how we had a 10 game win streak before Wade came back, only to have the whole team chemistry compromised for his Wadeness. That same team without Wade was somehow able beat those same Bulls who swept them by 30 last year. So then Riley panics, jumps the gun and gets rid of Posey and Eddie Jones, our two best defenders, and Kapono, our best shooter, because he thought our talent fell that much that quick. I think this was a huge misdiagnosis by Riles, maybe due to his increasing age and decreasing eyesight and brain. To his credit, Milwaukee really screwed us by resigning Mo Williams and then kidnapping Charlie Bell against his own will. But the lack of Riley pulling the trigger on any significant offseason moves brings us to where we are now, reality. The team we are watching every night is full of guys who just simply aren't that talented in any of the 100 or so categories that make up a player's overall rating, like in NBA 2K. You make a strong case that Wade is the only guy worthy of starting on an NBA team in 2007. I can't say these guys don't give full effort, they're just simply not good enough, not to mention the fact that they lack intelligence (basketball IQ). You ever wonder why the only time seems to run smooth is when Chris Quinn is in there? Because he's the only guy on our team that is intelligent enough not to turn it over wildly or jack up a shot out of rhythm. So when you put the low team IQ and combine it with Riley's mental deprecciation, you have an 8-21 team.

PS. Why is Riley the only coach in NBA history to not start a starter in the 2nd half of every game??(Dorrell Wright) As far as I'm concerned, Wright has shown hussle and tremendous improvement, so why all of a sudden does Riley now punish the guy who is clearly trying his hardest? This directly goes against his whole work ethic theory, not to mention it crushes this young kid's confidence. Cook and Wright need to playing 30 minutes a game.

Shaq deserves better than this. He plays defence, pulls down 10 boards and get's given only four shots? I really hope Shaq demands a trade or the more likely scenario of agreeing to a buy out. The team has stopped listening to Riley and is littered with ball hogs looking out for themselves. How Shaq could be the fourth option on offence on this rubbish team is beyond acceptable. No.2 yes but no way should Davis and Haslem be putting up more shots than Shaq especially when those two clowns dream of Shaq's field goal percentage.
Shaq is still one of the better big men in the game (evidenced by his flogging of both Yao & Amare this season) and would make a pretty good team an instant contender like a Dallas for example.
It's terrible watching such a legend of the game (even though he only has a couple of years left in him) being treated like this by a selfish and hopeless team. Riley is the coach and he's allowing all this to happen.

Right, Riley is going to do a reshuffle. With what? Except for Wade, Haslem and maybe Cook or Wright, he has nothing to trade. Maybe he could give away a few of the clods he has assembled. What is really worrisome is that he's going to give away a few more picks to pick up some more stumblebums, so that the Heat can't get anyone in the draft till 2020 or so. It's time to fold up the tents, write off this year as a loss and begin to build for next year by playing the young 'uns and billing them as the stars of the future. And to get a new coach and team president; as long as the current president stays around, the Heat is gonna keep on spinning downward, playing Slow Time instead of Show Time, trading away the future and going nowhere. Micky Arison, the time has come to say "Enough!"

you cant be serious? wade and shaq are nowhere near superstars let alone the greatest. well, they are superstars if you're maybe 10 years old. neither have any talent. shaq is big and wade is fast. wade cannot shoot the jumper, his defense is pathetic, and hes a turnover machine, and i dont even want to bother with shaq's old a$s. dont you ever say these 2 scrubs are 2 of the best who ever played you boy scout.
