i just read this in the paper. i appreciate the attention being brought to the Sixers and the big summer ahead of them, but i'm quite humored that Jermaine O'Neal's name was brought up. i'm guessing this is the same J.O.Neal who hasn't nearly played a complete season in years now due to chronic knee problems, and who has admitted to the fact that he's hurt himself even farther by trying to come back every season with these injuries.

Elton Brand on the other hand would be a nice veteran signing, but he also is coming off major injury and the $$ he is making might not be worth it.

surely the Sixers front office is gonna be a lot more creative than either of these 2 walking injury magnets.

I don't want any of them. Damage goods. I learned my lesson with Cweb. I want Rasheed. He plays D, can extend the defence and open the driving lanes for Young, Iggy, and Lew Williams. I would trade, the 16 pick and Willy Green for sheed.
