The UCONN BOYS have done a terrific job this year! Keep up the good work and you'll make the top spot.

Good, let's hope they meet again. Blair all but admitted he flipped Thabeet in the first game on purpose, admitted he tripped him in the second game. Blair is a thug playing basketball and to have Thabeet stand his ground was encourageing. How Blair hasn't been get called for one moving screen, one shoulder dip into the chest of Thabbeet or Adrien is a mystery and a joke to anyone who has ever played basketball. The problem with Thabeet is he never had time to learn any of the cheap shot, school yard punk moves that a punk like Blair has mastered. Let's hope they meet again.

JC has to admit that he just got purely outcoached. Sam Young killed Uconn the first game with 28 points. If you know were the mines are in the mine field, you either go around or destroy them. JC chose to put an inferior defender who has no toughest or pride. Everyone wants Stanley Robinson to be much more than he his. Marcus Johnson could have been the answer for us, but Calhoun decided to go with someone who has the lowest basketball IQ in the history of UCONN basketball. What does that say about JC. Please make the adjustment an realize that PITT is really an inside team that does not rely on the three point shot. Double Sam Young and force him into a passer (Something that he is not). Do the same with DeJuan Blair (He is also not a good passer). Let the other guys beat us. Smarten UP JC.

Cut the guy some slack, have you ever been to Somerville? There is a reason people call it Slumerville. It's an awful place to live, he has no choice but to be miserable.

Agreed Mark, and I certainly wouldn't want to label ANY of his fellow cellmates as losers, like he is, but have you been following Cybil's posts? Again I ask: Cybil, How's YOUR team doing?.........The dead "air"parallels the space between his ears. Go HUSKIES!!!!!!!!

Let me get this straight, you want to double team Young and Blair. That will take four guys, leaving only one guy to cover the other three players, and you are telling JC to smarten up.

Pitt would stomp Uconn again toady-timpy - but Uconn and d!ckhead Calhoun will be bounced from the tournament early on regardless and you'll be sobbing in your crying towel and reaching for a fresh tampon - waaaaaaahhh!!!!
I believe their 27-3 record and 8-2 record against the RPI top 50 would say otherwise.

I agree with Joe Average. Blair is excellent at getting away with that stuff. But overall we do not match up well with Pitt especially with Dyson on the bench. Losing twice to them is tough to take but it's still benn a pretty damn good regular season. Soon the real season will start....we'll see. Keeping the fingers crossed

For some reason Adrien can not get his head out of his butt against Pitt. To slow to cover Young and to small to cover Blair's body strength. With the exception of Notre Dame he has been a big no show down the stretch. In order for UConn to go deep in the NY or the NCAA he has to get his act together. Thabeet can do it alone in the paint. Adrien shouls sit down with Kevin freeman and learn how to play clutch Husky BB.

You may wish to see Pitt again but I do not. They will have trouble beating this Pitt team because Pitt plays great defense and they have figured out how to bring Thabeet out of the paint which opens up the scoring inside for Sam Young.

Why didn't JC try a zone? It's obvious that neither Sticks nor Adrien can guard Young or any other quick player-once they penetrate, easy baskets or kick-outs for open 3's are the result. It's Dyson's defense that is missed more than anything else. While UCONN has Price dribble the ball around the perimeter for 15 sec looking for an opening inside, PITT moves the ball around quickly and is constantly setting picks that UCONN players have yet to master. Hate to admit it, but PITT can beat UCONN a 3rd time.

In both games Pitt were the better team as in both games a Uconn team did'nt turn up a good team performance by every player is needed, with better shooting and ball control we could have won at Pitt if we would have drew level at 53 who knows......... Lets go Huskies

Let Duke knock out Pitt. UConn will knock out UNC and we will get UConn v. Duke! P.S. Why the hell can't someone just stay with Young, don't cheat "to help" on someone else, STAY ON YOUNG! This will be the same with Danny Green of UNC stay on Young stay on Green win National Championship!
