Wolves looking for a Kevin McHale-type coach

Full story: TwinCities.com

The search isn't scheduled to begin until after the June 25 NBA draft, but what the Timberwolves are looking for in their next coach sounds a lot like the one they just let go.

The last thing we need is another Kevin McHale... you mean a guy who hates traveling, who only works when he feels like it, who has a hard time understanding why players aren't as good as he was?

Tybalt - Larry Brown? in Minnesota? Hahahaha! No reason to waste money on Jeff Van Gundy either, its not like the puppies are contenders...

van gundy may be too much, but what about his correspondent partner mark jackson? he interviewed for a few jobs last year and would probably do a good job. not convinced that avery is a high quality coach. he took a great Don Nelson mavericks team and didn't make them any better in my opinion. i have always liked sam and love that he is a former original t-wolf.

People need to realize that big name coaches would never come here. Taylor won't pay big dollars and its frigid Minnesota with a losing franchise!!! Get over it. The GM was the 4th choice. It's a hockey town and always will be
