Al Jefferson is starting to look stronger. The bench is looking stronger as well. The referees looked like professional wrestling referees with the continuous one-sided calls.

I'm glad the Wolves pulled through. It was not looking good in the first half but they got the win and yeah, those calls were incredibly one-sided, Lombo.

Hey, it could be worse. We could be the New Jersey Nets.

T'Wolves should deal Cardinal, Blount, Wilkins and pecherov to the Rockets for Tracy Macgrady and Jermaine Taylor. Deal works out on Espn trade machine. Rockets get rid of a headache and a filler, while acquiring more salary relief and a sharp shooting big man.

Always nice to win. Two thughts:

1. Al is a long way from full strength, paticularly rebounding. His avg Boards are about half of last year. With Love out as well, we are getting crushed in this area--impossible to win without rebounding. Could be mid-late Jan before this is full strength.
2. Can't Rambis get anyone to drive to the basket? The nuggets had 3 guys shoot 6 or more FTs, the Wolves none. And Denver wan't even trying! Cannot win in this league shooting only jumpers.

Boards and FTs. Without more of those two things, wins will remain scarce.

Just good to see a win. It was getting pretty painful to watch them lose by such big margins. Second half was like a totally different team - they played together, moved the ball, fought for rebounds, drove to the basket - in other words - played decent basketball. Let's hope they can keep it up.

They got their win for the month. The only question is, will the Wolves or the Nets set the all time losing record for one season?
