The Timberwolves' season is over, and a busy offseason is about to begin. As fans await a decision on whether Kevin McHale will return as coach and the naming of a new head of basketball operations, what kind of team can they expect to see next season? McHale might not know if he wants to come back, but the expectation is clear.

would be great for wolves to get first pick and okc to get second.
thunder would give a bunch to swap and get griffin.
wolves do not need griffin as much as they do a point guard.
picking second they could take rubio, the next projected SUPERSTAR guard.
sounds like he not only is a great player, but a good person as well.
that's what wolves need as a leader.
as well as the second pick, thunder has a later first (san antonios I think), their first and the suns first after next season to dangle in front of the wolves.

deals could be made with other teams moving from first to second to help the wolves the most.

washington picking second to the wolves first could also work out well for the wolves.

does new jersey get any ping pong balls ?
a first for second switch with them could bring wolves a dallas first next season or a golden st protected first in 20011 or later.
trade first and # 28 (from boston)and get both dallas and golden st picks from nets.

who ever is in charge of this team needs to make it better.
ricky rubio will make the wolves better.
would blake griffin ?
wolves are stacked at power forwards.

if wolves get first and keep griffin, may be would have to look at moving al jefferson or kevin love.
I do not think they want to do that.
they should get moving on signing smith again. he can dominate off bench.

do not think okc would do it but....
wolves first for second swap with thunder plus brewer for jeff green.
jeff green was taken one place before brewer and is turning into what every team wants in a small forward.

Oh, please. It's the famous blueprint again. Their blueprint, sadly, is equivalent to the blueprint of a blind man with a hammer, a bucket of nails, and a pile of wood who sets out to build a house.

They have a little bit of reason to be positive about next season. Namely, how could things be any worse than they have always been for the T-Wolves? They have a record for being one of the worst sports franchises in all of sports in the world.(:

It can work both ways, one way is the wolves get a higher draft pick, the other way is they dont get the high draft pick, and they are stuck wit the same players, and al not being healthy

Optimistic, why? Is McHale leaving and not involved in the draft? Has the league rescinded the Roy for Foye monumental debacle? Get real, we are fans not suckers.

Knowing the Wolves luck in the lottery, the 7.6% chance of getting the top pick translates to the chances of Hell freezing over.
