Next Season the lakers will be saying "Next Season" because the Spurs will be back because it's an odd year, and the refs will be overhauled, so no more help for your Lakers.

I AGREE DAT LAKERS LOST 2 A BETTER TEAM, BUT DA CELTICS HAD SO MANY VETERAN PLAYERS N 3 ALL STARS WID 10+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE..PLUS ITS ONLY PIERCE'S, GARNET'S N ALLEN'S FIRST TITLE AFTER 10 YEARS IN DA LEAGUE..KOBE HAS 3... N I HOPE THEY ENJOY IT CAUSE ITS DA ONLY ONE THEYLL WIN IN THEIR CAREERS...WELL SORRY 2 SAY DAT BOSTON WILL GO FOR 20+ YEARS B4 WINNING ANOTHER CHAMPIONSHIP
VLAD, WALTON N ODOM GOT 2 GO...THEY DONT PLAY WID INTENSITY N THEY ARE INCONSISTANT...TRY 2 GET ARTEST OR PRINCE
LAKERS R GONNA B 08-09 CHAMPS...GO LAKERS

hey I can't wait to see you guys next season i know you guys will make it to the finals and WIN. I also share your disappoint. i'm happy for kevin garnet winning a ring/championship just not happy that he got it by defeating my favorite basketball team. All of you were great, good to have you all back together next season more ready and playing with heart.

jandolph that was the dumbest thing ive ever heard, as if the lakers have the money for arenas and jamison, be realistic man. and people who they shoudl trade, are you dumb, first of all no one wants mihm, he hasnt played in forever, and at one point he was productive, give him a season to show you something, luke walton, he has some promise hes a great passer and is on and off a lot but will find a role. coby karl and ira newble dont even count. im all for the jamison though, odom coming off the bench would be good for us.

I am so hopefull for next year, let Garnett Pierce, and Allen have there moment in the sunshine. They earned it but when next season comes around you'll see who will be the more dominate team. Without missing key members they won't know what hit them. Lakers never give up never give in your the real Champs you won the West. You will win the East next!!!

i would actually give the edge to the celtics if the two make it again next year. LA definitely should not of won the west because both games 1 and 5 were given to them.

Laker apologists cite the trade Kevein MacHale made to the Celts, while failing to mention the trade Jerry West made to the Lakers, the trade that got Kobe to to finals.

The Lakers may win a title with Kobe on the team, but I'd bet against that ever happening.

Next season the Lakers should be the odds on favorite to emerge from the west, the Celts had to fight through three tough teams to get there and may not survive next year.

Whoever comes out of the East will again stifle the Lakers. As long as Kobe runs the team, Coach Jackson is just an appendage.

He should stop embarrassing himself and retire.

Oh and as a last thought, the Lakers put on a full-court press to get Garnett. They offered everything LA has to offer, TV deals, movies roles, endorsement contracts and rumor has it a piece of the Getty Museum if he would come to LA.

Garnett was quoted as saying he didn't think he would want to play on a team with Kobe. So Kobe is both your blessing AND your curse.
