I'm a big Los Angeles Lakers fan and I'm hurting deep down inside because not all the players are playing. Even if they were complete, I think 7 out of 15 players on the roster are injured. As much as I don't wanna think negative here, even if I'm a drop dead Laker fan, I doubt the Lakers are gonna make it far into the playoffs. The only person I can trust at this moment is Kobe Bryant, but of course, he will need some help from his team mates. Pau Gasol's return is uncertain, Lamar Odom isn't feeling well, Derek Fisher has a torn ligament (who knows how long he'll be running), Chris Mihm is trying to feel for his game back, Kobe Bryant has a dislocated pinky, Andrew Bynum's return date keeps on getting pushed back, I haven't even heard one thing about Trevor Ariza's health update.
Come on now Lakers, us fans can't do much but defend you with our words and trust! All I can say is there's too much talk out there in the NBA but anything can happen and anything is possible. I wanna be able to toast to the good life of another Lakers dyansty to arise! I want Kobe Bryant to win that MVP so people can just shut up about Chris Paul and LeBron James who all he does is monster dunks! But Kobe Bryant, full package with nothing else needed.

The Lakers conditioning/medical/training seems to be suspect. So many injuries, such innaccurate and extended timetables for returns, and players "playing through" injuries. Every Laker starter, and key reserve, have suffered injury and either lost time or endured playing through one. This is such a key element of success - one that can hinder even the most elite of teams. We need help in that area, as much as in any other area. Get Gary Vitti some help!

You forgot to add that Kobe is also playing with sprained ankle too, for a few games now.
In the shape they are right now then can easly lose the next 4 games, not good news at all.

I just can't wait until the team is complete again this season entering the playoffs. I know it's still a long road to go because the NBA playoffs and breath taking moments on who's going to be in the finals.

What I can't wait to see is how well the Lakers are gonna do next season. The NBA is gonna have about 6 months of a break and when everyone in the Lakers come back, wow, they're all gonna so healthy! I know I'm gonna lose my voice already!

For the other Laker fans, let's not lose hope in our team!

i agree. it's very frustrating to remain patient with all the talent we have on this team. i mean two of our top three players have missed way too many games. yet we a still very much alive. i just want gasol and bynum to be healthy for the playoffs. even if we fall to a 6th, 7th or 8th seed it's okay IF we get our guys back ready to play.

I just can't wait to get this guys on the floor to see, what they can do together is a shame they may not get enought time to practice together before the playoffs.
