That was a horrible call but did not cost LA the game, although i think the NBA needs to call playoff games a little looser. Go Lakers!

It was a hard foul and not a flagrant foul. I disagree with PJ that the kid was out of control, but the film shows that Turiaf was going for the ball and the play was clean. The refs overreacted and probably influenced the game. It wasn't the only bad call of the night... bottom line- Lakers lost the game at the line.

This was a homer call by cowardly refs. Listen here sponsors of ABC. I turned off the TV after that call and missed all your ad spots.

as the final 2 games of the season approach the Lakers, I would just like to a minute and thank Kobe and the lakers for playing so hard and competitive against the High Powered Jazz, and the Jazz will be a tougher Team next series because of the toughness of the series with the Lakers, and having to go 6 games. thank you to Kobe, the Lakers, the LA fans, fun tough series, hopefully when you put your Laker jersey's for the uear, you will acquire a Jazz jersey and root them on throughout the NBA championship, i must note many of you probabley already have a Jazz jersey and wont need to purchase one unless it needs updating. well UTAH & LA hand in hand, great series, 2 powerful teams, this ones in the refrigerater, so lets get ready to root the UTAH JAZZ ON TO AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP!! who knows afterwords we might yrade a couple of players to LA to brighten your outlook for next year. THANX LA

Get out of a los angeles website utah fan... you should be afraid you barely won with a severely struggling kobe, la missing 14/25 foul shots and the referees obviously highly influenced by the crowd in every single call they made.. Stop being so confident, i don't want you to be upset with the lakers win in 6 games.

It was a dead ball foul after the whistle had blown. The original foul had already been called on Shasha Vujacic. There was no possible justification for the hard foul. It was a dirty play by Turiaf and he should draw a one game suspension. That would be consistent with the penalties the league has enforced on other dead ball flagrant fouls.

ok, so the Jazz barely won on their homecourt and Utah fans are already crowning the Jazz NBA champs? You'll get your money's worth Utah, but sorry Lakers in 7.

Once again Phil Jackson shows his smugness when refering to Ronny Price as the kid who looked liked he was out of control. I know that he is going to stick up for his team, that is expected. What I don't like is the fact that he or Ronny Turiaf take any responsiblity for the actions on the court. Just like always, Coach Jackson shows no respect for anybody but his own... thats why there are so many Laker haters out there.

Stop crying he was playing the ball, he got more punishment than he should have had so stop bitching.

I don't think Ronny meant to hurt Price, he is not that kind of player. I don't think Ronny should get suspended it wasn't to the head he went after the ball. If anything I think Price should of gotten a technical since he went after Ronny. Hopefully the refs make the same ticky tack calls against Utah just as the Refs did to the Lakers.

i think these refs are nothing more than momentum changers, if they would stop calling these flops charges, and start calling all of the hand checking and pushing and shoving being done to kobe this series would be just about over
