First off, that was another bullsh!t game called by the Refs... We are never given any credit by the Ref's and continue to get sh!tty calls against us when we play other power teams. Dwight was hacked all night and there were many other calls that should have been called that weren’t. An easy example is when Dwight clearly got an easy rebound then the Ref’s called a foul on him when the ball was already in his hand and the guy wasn't even near him. I think they called a push off or some crap. Funny though, Maxiel and McDyess had been doing that all night long to Dwight under the basket, but since this was right in front of their eyes, they just called what they think they saw. What about the out of bounds play where the Ref's had to talk to each other to figure out who the ball went out off of in like the 2nd quarter. Then there was that other foul where Rasheed was called for a foul when it was clearly Amir that grabbed Dwight before he could dunk it. This was the 2nd game in the last few weeks that have had horrible officiating; 2 important games I might add (DET/LAL)

Anyway, we seem to always lose when Jameer fails to show up, Hedo plays like the dopey white guy that he is and we get out rebounded (like normal). We played okay defense in the 2nd half, but there were still a lot of shots that DET had that were wide open with no hands up to at least challenge the shots.

I'm telling you folks, we aren't going to get far in the playoffs with this roster we have. We don't rebound well (lots of guys going for the same balls and not rebounding behind the free throw line), we have stupid turnovers all the time from Hedo and Dwight, our starting PG is more like a small SG whom barely ever records more than 7 assists a game, plus most other teams have PF's that out work ours. DET has way too many hustle PFs for us to compete with in a 7 game series. We need tougher dudes down low and more consistency from our current PG and SF. I can hear some of you guys now, saying that it’s just one game, but these guys have played like this against DET for years now. And everyone knows to get to the ECF, you have to go through DET or the Cavs (I’m not too worried about them however).

quit blaming the refs for the magics inability to get to the hoop, and for them settling for 27 threepointers...the pistons out played the magic tonight WITHOUT HAMILTON

Look, DET is okay at best. They beat the Magic tonight and that's fine, but they still don't know how to play with AI. They should have kept Billups. With AI and Hamilton playing the 2 guard spots, I think the Magic would have had a better chance. Stuckey is a far better PG than AI and with AI running the point with Hamilton at the other guard spot that team just doesn't flow well. It will be interesting to see how things unfold with DET the 2nd half of the season, but they will either be the 4 or 5 spot in seeding at the end (Magic 3rd again).

Detroit played the better game tonight. On any other night, we could take them.

The refs were a non-factor.

...uh, well, yes....there were the (only) 14 fouls, but beyond that.....

Barring a miracle, this game is over. I hope Orlando doesn't pull another Portland on us!
Your stolen teams game will be over when it comes time for the playoffs.
