I have never been a Kentucky fan, but Prince is a good guy.

I dont see him actually taking charge in Detroit simply because of his personallity.

When he puts his mind to scoring or rebounding or defense, he is pretty superior in any... especially defense.

He may decide to get 30 points tonight.

Tay is a quiet storm. He does'nt run his mouth. He just performs. He is actually a pretty shy cat.(no pun intended seeings he went to kentucky). He'll be remembered most for his "block heard around the world" on Reggie Miller. GO PISTONS!

correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe Prince's first shining moment in the NBA playoffs came during the first round of the 2003 Playoffs (vs. TMac and Orlando), wherein down 1-3 in that series, then-coach Larry Brown decided to use his length to contain TMac as a last-ditch resort?

I'm a Magic fan, but I've always liked Prince's game. He's a tough matchup, a great defender(ask Reggie Miller), and a lefty to boot. He doesn't talk trash like his fellow Pistons. He's gonna be a better player, but I think he's better suited to be a #2 option. Like Pippen to MJ.

Magic could have drafted Prince back in 2002.

Instead we draft Curtis Borchardt at #18... trade him to Utah for Ryan Humphrey. Neither are in the league right now.

Prince falls to Detroit with pick #23

Oh yeah... I almost forgot. Magic ALSO passed on drafting Carlos Boozer that same year. He falls to the 2nd Round and is picked 34th.

Great scouting job by the organization.

VRL29 Larry brown was not coaching when the magic played the magic. Rick Carlisle was coaching and was fired the next season and then Brown came in. Alot of teams passed up on tayshaun do to his physique, but he's a multi talented forward who can do just about anything, well except post up bigger players,
Joe Dumars is an excellent GM, just look at the team assembled. not many GM's are nearly as good as him. The darko for stuckey pick was genius. it greatly softens the blow
