I think the reputation Wade has as a flopper has been earned over the past few seasons. I'd assume he knows he's getting the calls.

His response, "don't foul me then", doesn't make any sense in response to other players saying he's getting phantom fouls.

Wade does get alot of phantom calls. Anyone who can't admit this is a lame homer. Wade does't drive anymore than kobe, mcgrady,ai,or lebron. Wade takes alot of jumpshots also. The only difference is he is always bailed out.

It is amazing to listen to you guys? Have you been watching the NBA for only the last three years or something? MJ had the Pistons/Celtics beating him for like 4 seasons before he started 'getting those calls? Literally dropping him to the floor with elbows, not him falling like somebody shot him out of cannon like Wade does? Wade is Divac, he acts like he does in his commercials. Tmac Kobe Carmello and Dirk have earned their places in the league while Lebron and Wade had it given to them by David Stern and shoe companies.

The secret to Wade getting the calls is simple - he falls down everytime he drives to the hole. The man is either a great actor or has the worst balance of anyone to ever play the game but it forces the refs to make a call virtually everytime or they have to put up with him crying for the next five minutes. It's disgusting that he is even included in the same breath as great players like LeBron and Kobe. Look at the amount of punishment those guys take when they drive to the basket, but they come from a different place where it's not acceptable to just fall down and throw the ball at the hoop and hope you get the call.

I was fortunate to get an autographed photograph of D-Wade going up for that shot in Game 5 where Nowitzki fouled him. Unless you are blind or stupid, you can clearly see Nowitzki reaching across D-Wade's body and smacking D-Wade's wrist as he is elevating. The picture doesn't lie. Get over it. HE fouled D-Wade. Besides, D-Wade had to make the free throws for the win. The reason D-WAde goes to the line so frequently is becuase he takes it to the paint more than any other player. They should all stop crying and whining if they are too scared of getting hurt and settle for jumpers instread of driving to the hoop. If they did that, I'm sure their fans would be much more appreciative. Instead of focusing the anger at the refs, players need to evaluate their games. If they were as fearless as D-Wade, they probably will be thought of in a better light.

I am not surprised that Bob Hill would complain, he is trying to justify his million chances in the NBA without winning anything. Ray Allen & Tracey McGrady are among a group of good NBA players who continue to fill up their personal stats every year, but will never win anything, they are not good enough to make the next step up to greatness. Phil "The coach of Jordan", short memory Jackson.....ha ha ha!!!

i think the new rule is wrong what is supposed tp make the game faster has us watching a free throw marathon.
as for wade is think that he is getting more star callss than any one else.the dallas foul is the famous phantome foul,u forgot to add that the replay showed no one touched him and he won against portland a couple of weeks a go when they gave him 2 freethrows when he tripped.
the thing is why not kobe (he is the best, image?)why not lebron??
most importantly ,the refs or the league, why are they ruining the game for us.should have been like this in bird and magic s days damn it would have been all freethrows.
