If you keep on driving the lane surely you'll get the fouls, simple as that. If your a jump shooter, do you expect a lot of fouls to be called? I don't think so. Dwanye is right, do not foul him. Also, MJ use to have that priviledge and why complain now - its has been a culture of the NBA. Why not 'no blood - no foul' feel better!!!!

a much better idea - put six (6) referees on the court.

HAAAAAATERS!!!!!

They need to quit crying over this. Wade goes to the basket more than almost anyone. There are plenty of times when he doesn't get the call.

When a player gets a called and isn't even touched I don't see them going up to the ref and they're like "ref, I wasn't fouled on that play". NO, they take it and shoot their free throws.

lastly... this is all geared towards us for IF we get back to the finals. Wade is going to get beat up and get very few calls... If that happens then all the crying was worth it for these players.

This is why I can't watch basketball.
Every time a ball is brought down court, someone flops or reaches in or whatever, it's like a holding call in football, it happens every play but is called subjectively and then the players cry like babies. Watch a peal mans sport like UFC fights or rugby, heck, even soccer is more physical.
Basketball is just a bunch of overpaid whiners who would be flipping burgers or selling crack if they couldn't shoot a basketball.

You come lately Heat fans need to get a grip. Wade is a great player and all but he does get calls left and right. By the way this year is the future of your franchise, fighting for the eight seed.

It's a buiness. If you have a guy that people really want to see play that is worth money. Just like the league rule in the NFL to protect to QB i makes sense to protect the best players.

Are you kidding me!!!......shut up Phil Jackson. if there is any one who knows about getting calls you would know. you had a player named MJ # 23 on your team who GOT EVERY CALL for 16 straight years.

Can't believe this guy would comment on Wade getting calls. How about these players admit, they can't stop him, and he's a great player. PLEASE you bunch of babies quit whinning. GO HEAT !! 2006 NBA Champs enough said !!!

The same NBA players that complain Wade gets too many calls are the ones standing near the three point line taking shots: Allen, McGrady, Nowitzki, on and on. Who's game is comparable when it comes to penetrating in the NBA? Allen Iverson. What place is he in most FTA/GM? Second. No one in the NBA drives the lane more consistently than Wade. The guy takes a pounding and deserves the FT. Let the haters hate.

Lakers' Phil Jackson are among coaches this season who have griped about calls for Wade. Jackson said Wade got "a tremendous amount of calls made for him in the playoffs" but stopped short of judging their legitimacy.

Hey Phil where was this complaining when you had Jordan on your team. Oh' I guess you forgot about the 6 championships you had with him.

had he didn't get any calls during those playoffs runs. hahaha!!! hahahah !!! his comments just make me laugh.

Let's FACE REAL FACTS..OFFICALS have there FAVORITE'S ... LIKE ALL- STAR'S, GUY'S THEY LIKE ON THE COURT. YOU SEE IT AS PLAIN AS DAY. THAT's WHY when you play in the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS there are NO FAVORITES. NO FAVORTIES, CALLED FAIR AND SQUARE. THAT's why USA will always LOOSE. RONNIE NUNN HAD HIS FAVORITE PLAYERS when he REFed himself. NBA refs are TERRIBLE. OVER EUROPE NO ONE IS FAVOVITED.

Wade is a great player, but he gets so many phantom calls it makes me sick. Anyone see the Blazers game earlier this year? In the 4Q he lost is balance and fell down, what should have been a travelling call was a foul on the nearest Blazer in his vicinity.

The NBA should be ashamed of how biased the referees were in Wade's favor. Watching him march to the free throw line for 15 - 25 free throws a game against the Pistons and Mavs was a bore. I never thought that a player would ever get calls like Jordan did; Wade is just as bad. He is like the teacher's pet, no body likes brownoser goody-goodies.

Stop whistling touch fouls!!!

You know what wasn't boring? Watching him hoist the championship. Like that crybaby R Wallace is any better than Wade. That big dufus acts like a spoiled 3 year old when a foul gets called on him. He should take off that dumb headband covering his bald spot and put it in his mouth...

The thing I hate about officiating is when it is a close call and they wait to see if the shot is made to decide to call a foul or not. Sometimes the foul call is 2 to 3 seconds after the original contact.
