Lets hear the "fire Coach Hill" people now...like i have said all along, this is a young team...there are going to be stretches they don't play well (chicago bulls of last year)...but i think the last 2 games have proven we have some very good talent on our team...and coach hill might known what he is doing

as a side note, i know we all love him, but i am beginning to think we are better off without Grant Hill...I love the guy, he is hard not to love...but I just think he is holding this team back...thats just my personal opinion..i am sure i will hear others

Good win for the Magic kids.. Everyone but Charlie Outlaw got a bucket in this one. Say whatever you want about G. Hill, dude has guts to even be out there. Sometimes he plays well, other times he doesn't.. I just hope to see the Magic go on a positive win streak here before the All Star break and be ready for his return later this month.. As well as Dooling and Ariza. Hate to bring up a downer after a win, but Bogans is all we got at off guard right now and he was limping late in the game. Redick (while scoring 13) didn't play well in his meaningful minutes tonight. He doesn't play well with the starters but does good when the time gets into "mop up".. We're gonna need him to come around just a little in the next couple weeks w/ Hill and Dooling still out.. Overall, good win, onto the Knicks and for me, onto UCF/Tulsa tomorrow night!

Hopefully, they can keep this up. If not, they have a long 2-3 weeks ahead of them.

Milwaukee and New Jersey suck and Brian Hill made no changes that werent predicated by injuries. I wouldnt necessarily say his coaching had ANYTHING to do with the last two efforts in all honesty...

No getting away from it, the Magic is as good as any team in the league when they want to be.

So I guess your willing to let Brian Hill off the hook for the last 10 or so games because our team blew out two really bad teams. Open your eyes, Brian Hill isnt a very good coach...sorry

I realize this had very little to with Brian Hill and the changes he made, but he did tweak a few things, Dwight and Darko are spending more time on the court TOGETHER...and I think that is going to help this team...

I know I keep saying this, but this is a young team, yes there are some things I want Brian Hill to do differently...but there isn't a coach in this league you will agree with all the time...the fact of the matter is this team is young...if you expect them to play well all the time you are just going to end up more and more angry...

The team has improved from last year, and that is what you want, steady improvement...if next year we take a step back then of course the coach will be looked at...but the way things are going we will have 41-45 wins this year, i good improvement

Grant who????? Great win last night!!! I don't doubt that G Hill is a decent player when he is able to play, or even that he is a "good guy". The problem is that the rest of the Magic team does not play as hard as they did last night when G Hill is in the lineup. There are serious chemistry issues with the team that go away when G Hill is inactive. Grant Hill I love the suits!

Walton made a comment lsat night when asked by his co-commentators to say something about Jameer, Walton said "An undersize slow guard in wich the Mgics have pinned their hopes for the future". Well he said a mouthfull. Jameer was past over seveal times in the draft and the team that finally drafted him was quick to trade him for those same reasons. Thanks to the effort of Otis Smith who liked his character and swaggard Orlando aquired his services. Now GM Smith reputation rides in Jameers performance. Thats why Jameer is the Starting PG and a team Captain. In any other team he would be in the bench.
In conclusion last night game was won thanks to above average performances by Turkulu and Howard and to a greater extent to the horrible night the Nets stars had. In oders words The Magics proved nothing .

i agree with you on that. I want a new point guard ASAP! jameer so far has been ok but think of what JKidd could do with Darko? Think of what more he could do Tony Battie, Dwight Howard, hell JJ Redick and my man Trevor...GOOD LAWD!

Praise the Lord. Hal lay luuu ya. We finally played inspired free, fun
basketball.

Coach says there was a concerted effort to get Turk involved offensively. Why now? Why not the first game of the year?

Every time Dwight Howard did something fantastic, I switched channels real quick to get the Bill Walton analysis. He was blown away. Good game, Dwight.

I still like the David & Mattie show best.

Caveat: Do not get too high off a blowout. Can we play like this against a team also playing well?

Sure was fun last night.

The Nets couldn't shoot the ball into the ocean last night. This gave the Magic an early cushion even though they looked sloppy again running the offense in the first quarter. Then Dwight started heating up.

Once Dwight got going, everyone seemed to relax and play much better. The offense is set up to run through Dwight, but he's not consistent enough yet. When he's not playing well, either by not getting open or not handling the ball well, the offense bogs down.

When Dwight plays well, everyone relaxes and plays better. Dwight needs to recognize the defense quicker and make his countermoves quicker, especially in terms of getting open and in terms of passing the ball.

The Magic need to diversify their offense and do things like run off-ball screens for shooters like Redick. This gives the defense different looks to worry about. Right now Brian Hill is running the Shaq offense without Shaq. Dwight is getting there, and may end up better in some respects, but he's not there yet.

The Magic also need to play at a faster offensive pace. They have a team that would play much better at a faster tempo.

I loved it, it was really impressive to see a team playing that good of a game after a long batlle with a losing cancer, it's going to get better, just play hard guys, Howard needs to take over the team now more than a star, cause this guy has the brightest future in the league at the age of 21, pressed on my brother in Christ talking about Howard, have fun guys..........R

A comination of a tired opponent and a great shooting night.. This group does not block out, move without the ball or make the advantageous pass. Tonight the Knicks will be ready to exploit the Magic's lack of fundamentals. Can only hope for a continuation of the torrid shooting.

I hope the players are watching North Carolina this afternoon. FUNDAMENTALS WIN!!
