You can throw in Chris Douglas-Roberts as well. He can keep the SF position warm for LeBron. The Nets had a great day.

Why is David Lee still a Knick? His value will never be higher than it is now. Walsh must trade him before next season!

"As of today, it's advantage Nets, and it has nothing to do with Jay-Z."

No, it has everything to do with Jay-Z. A dozen teams can and probably will be way under the cap to try to grab one of these top free agents, but why would the Nets have an advantage in luring LeBron? Because he has a relationship with Jay-Z!

While it's all fine to think you have a shot at LeBron, they better have a solid plan if they don't. Sure, if they're in Brooklyn maybe LeBron's ties to JZ will help. But it seems stars want to avoid NY-NJ and go someplace ele where the weather is nice and you can play a lot of golf and have a less confrontational media. Can you say L.A.

If anything, we can see how much Isiah has damaged this team. Nobody really wanted to deal with the Knicks, especially McHale.

And no mention of Chris Douglas-Roberts in the article. CDR was the best player on Memphis's team and played un-selfish basketball to get his team to the NCAA's. Nets got a steal at 40. This kid can do it all, except those foul shots.

Good talk but... talk only. Even God can't say what will happen in NBA in 2 years.

I hope the Nets get LBJ in couple of years. I gave up on the Knicks once they traded Sprewell. That was my dude. I haven't watched a Knick game in like 4 years. I watch every other team now though without wanting anyone to actual win just watch a good game. I a man without a team to root for. On the subject though you know Kobe is gonna be talking to LBJ alot this Olypics trying to get him to move to the West. You know that. So hopefully Kobe is not that great of a persuader.

Lost in this discussion is the simple question of whether LBJ wants to go play for a team (NJ/BKLYN) that repeatedly fails to move as far as CLE in the playoffs. If he's going to leave CLE, which is not a given -- wouldn't he choose a Western Conf. team? LA, GS, PHX would prolly be in as good cap-wise no? And better championship odds to boot.

Isiah Thomas was seen recently 2 blocks from MSG and 3 fans mooned him then gave one finger salutes.

i think a lot of people are going to be upset by hanging their hopes on lebron coming to two shitty franchises in new york. if he's going to leave its going to be to a good team not to start all over again for the knicks or the nets.

thats if he leaves... he has repeatedly hinted that he staying.
