Well, I was never really sure if Isiah Thomas deliberately lied before; with all of his inaccurate predictions, decisions, and explanations. But now I think he has to be. Anyone that has played basketball,. and knows how a fine tuned atlete can coordinate the limbs of his body; knows that the Balkman foul WAS a deliberate elbow to the face.
For isiah to deny it, I think he is a liar. He, of all people know what a cheap shot is; because he was one of the dirtiest players and cheapest players of his time. And that was one of them.
Also, he really showed what a fool of a coach he is, by throwing Collins in late in the game last night to finish the fourth . Collins never even plays; and when he does, it's poorly.
Nate has been playing well; especially the previous two games. He single handidly kept them in the G.S. game and against LA he had 9 assists and only 1 Turnover.
To say Nate is too small for D. Williams carries little weight. He jumps out of the gym and is very strong. He doesn't play good defense; period, but the team needed him down the stretch. Collins threw it away twice; did nothing defensively; and can't shoot.
And Isiah's good friend Magic; has been another well known former great player; that very few people respect what he has to say when it comes to evaluating talent; and analyzing game strategies. That is why he is an owner; and does small TV commentary because of his name; and is involved in ZERO decision making process' and live color work.
Which is just further confirmation that STEVE MILLS should be fired along with Isiah. If he had Magic in his sights to begin with; settled for his good friend Isiah, second; and continues to see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil.......And Magic backs it up ????? It means Jimmy Boy Dolan better watch his wallet......AGAIN !
