I would love to see him walk off the court a champ and i have much respect for the 3 players he would join. Again its just a shame to here J.O. talk about being happy playing on another team. We were counting on him, we werent counting on a Reggie comeback. We wonder why a free agent wouldnt announce how much he'd like to play alongside J.O. well answer is the players in the league arent for sure he would stay even if one came here or not

Next couple of years there probably wont be any REAL key free agents if we let him opt out or trade him. I'd still say let him go and save money just in case one solid free agent does come out the woodworks. Micheal Redd??

Reggie Miller is my favorite basketball player of all time, if he were to come back, I would wish he'd remain with the Pacers, but if he wants to come back and play for somebody else, don't you think after 18 years with the Pacers, he's earned the right to go wherever he wants to by us fans? I would love to see him play another game, even if it is on another team, as long as it's not the Pistons... or the Knicks, come to think of it I'm not a big Miami fan, oh and NOT the Lakers. Well then there's the Spurs.....

Hey,
You dumb pacer fans we have tradition 16 banners, Red Auerbach, the parquet you have uh rik smits. We have the best team in baseball you have IU. We have the most dominant team in football in recent memory. We have the greatest fans in the world and the greatest ownerships in sports Kraft,Henry, and Grousebeck. Get real Pacer GM Donnie Walsh he called you for 15 useless years and you gave him nuttin. He has a team and a city poised to return to its glory so go cue the Hoosier movie maybe some Bobby Knight highlight reel and enoy the view
I hope you don't think that Pierce, Garnett and Allen are the answer. Ray Allen hasn't played a full season in 7 years and Pierce is just as injury prone. You have no bench and the big 3 aren't going to be able to go 48 every night and last the season. Garnett had a similar situation in Minnesota with Sprewell, Cassell and Wally and he couldn't do anything. He's not a winner. Doc Rivers sucks as a coach. At least Reggie will bring drive and know how to that squad!

Oh and we own your football team now. We have beat them the past 3 times, twice on your home field. Randy Moss will be the demise of that team.

Go Yankees!

I had a lot of respect for Reggie, however if he accepts and becomes a celtic then I believe that he will forever go down as one of the biggest assholes and traitors in NBA history, seeing as how numerous times he stated that "he would not go chasing a ring."

Blame Larry Bird. If the Pacers had any kind of team, Reggie would be coming back to play here. In the end, I can't blame Miller for wanting to play again. Many of us dream of being a pro athelete and I am sure he is missing the game by now. I am positive that he can still play at least 15-20 minutes a game. And when the Celtics come to Conseco I would not be surprised at all to see him get more cheers than the entire Pacers team. It's not good right now, sorry Larry, but you have to trade Jermaine too. Good luck.
Shoot, I'd blame Stephen "Just Shoot Me" Jackson who I might add Reggie Miller hated and his fat@$$ contract that lost us Fred Jones and Peja Stoyocivic. ALso I know this is totally off the subject, but Reggie didn't hate Ron Artest.

Shoot I wish Bird would go play for the Pathetic New England Patriot Panzies so he could screw then up like he did the Pacers and send their anoying fans falling back down the steps of Finway Park.
