The ABA years were the best.

I want each person to be aware that the Indianapolis Star's website deletes comments by users. While oftentimes the responses lack intelligence and spew more verbal jabs and inneundo, some of the responses are stimulating and can help provide more thought provoking ideas to better our community as a whole.

However, I have now witnessed that the Star has taken a new direction by reposting articles, thus removing all comments and allowing more room for new blogs. Truly, this is a clear indication that there is a need competition to the Star as they do not reflect the public's voice nor do they educate the public about all public policy issues and I encourage the public to demand that our news organizations live by integrity.

Roger Brown was UNSTOPPABLE....ABA, NBA.....then and against anyone today.

if you saw him play you could see that when they cleared out one side for roger ....it was a given he was scoring

How can you not remember the excitement Reggie Miller brought to the Pacers?

He was a true representation of Indiana basketball and we're lucky to have had him as a part of Indianapolis!

I'm glad it was clarified that 4 tickets at $55 would be $220 and 4 tickets at $25 would be $100. I would have had a hard time figuring that out. I guess next year my friends and I will be saving $120 per game less by not attending.

Reggie, Oh Reggie, man do we ever need you now more than ever. If anything proved that Reggie was the most clutch player in our history, he would have made that shot we needed last night.

Hey what about Steve Stepanavich? OK not really. Now for the serious part, Jalen Rose should have made it.

At $3/gallon and rising, who wants a free 1967 Camero?

These articles get reposted because they get updated and moved from the "latest news" section to the appropriate categoric section, like Sports or Business, etc. So relax there buddy...

Where's Vern Fleming??? Chuck Person??? I think the Davis brothers might not belong on the list. I love AD and Dale, but I think Fleming, Person, Derrick McKey, and Detlef Schrempf belong on there before the Davis brothers. AD and Dale were tremendous role players on great Pacer teams, though, so it's not too far off.

What no Ron Artest? He made the biggest impact on the franchise than any other player...

These voters are too young - Pacers went three out of four for Championships '69-'72.
They were the best.
