"I don't think we have what I call a great leader in that locker room."

I know they don't have a great leader in the front office. Yeah Larry, just wait until summer. How many times can this guy fail before he's held accountable? He's the NBA version of Matt Millen.

all you guys kill bird for everything yet you dont give him any credit for the positive things he does. For instance, last summer signing kareem rush and travis diener for little money was a great job by bird, drafting danny granger three years ago was a great job by bird and although people kill the trade he was able to get rid of our cancer in jackson and jaskisevicous for dunleavy who is a really good player. Hes made some mistakes but if your going to kill him you have to give him some credit too

The only change that needs is for him to resign!

hasnt Larry made this same vow for the past 3 seasons. Getting rid of Larry is the teams #1 priority.

The drafting of Granger was the only good call bird has made as GM. Everything else he has done has turned into a disaster, he couldn't make a decent trade or evaluate talent if his life depended on it.

Yeah, great job, and look where they are now! Let's elevate failure, mediocrity and greed to hero status. Well, it IS the NBA after all.

Okay, Larry. Unfortunately, your basketball savvy off the floor doesn't even come close to when you were a player. Give it up already!

Keep Larry. By all means.

What is killing the sport is what was thought to be a positive, which is the salary cap and max salary structures. Look at JO, look at Shaq, etc. These guys all had to get max deals (6 yrs?) but didn't have the legs to go more than 2-3 yrs on their current deals. Net result is teams get stuck for years. If teams are stuck, then the fans are STUCK. For the benefit of the game and the fan, they shouldn't have such long term deals....

Duh! Lightning strikes and finally Legend gets it. Ha! So, this summer, we're going to make big changes to fix this mediocre mess? Ha! You mean like hiring JOB last summer. Funny! The change this team needs is for you to go back to FL and play all the golf you want. And hey, please take the hack, Krap-Atz with you!

Why in the world does Jermaine (or any sports figure) make $22 million per year? That's absolutely absurd!

Hope the Pacers learned their lesson by not overpaying one particular player that limits their cap and trade opportunities. Tough situation they're in.

>> Pacers play great w/o JO and Tinsley

Sorry, JO - you had a great shot in year one. But then you never came up with anything else in year two and beyond, and people just shut you down. Get some new moves, and speed yourself up. But please figure out how to do that on another team.

Tinsley - you get in too much trouble. Get out of Indy and find a soul. You are really good, and were especially when Reggie was around, but now you get greedy when the game's on the line. If only you were greedy *and* good when you're tired. Instead, the shots just don't fall, and you ignore the rest of your team. That's no way to be a team player.

Larry - there's only so many chances you can give guys. Your team is playing great without your old veterans. It's time to replace JO and Tinsley with real leaders to seal the deal. That's your job.

In my world - NO PLAY - NO PAY When is the league going to start saying NO to these prima donnas and their agents who are living a life of undeserved luxury when the normal fan can not afford to go to the games. Let the athletes get healthy but at reduced pay. Then if they can not perform at the level at which they were hired - adjust their salary accordingly. Better yet - pay every player a base salary with incentives and reward them for their talents through out the year. How stupid are the powers to be that tell a 22 yr old "Here is 70 million dollars - now we will see if and how you will play."

Unfortunately the negative outweighs the positive like an elephant outweighs a feather.
