I agree with Prof Johnson. Carlisle is not a good coach for this team. We should make Larry Bird the head coach. Remember when he lead the Pacers to the finals a few years back? Something must be done before the Pacers become the worst team in the NBA. I say: COMPLETE MAKEOVER...both in the roster and the coaching staff.

With the season going down the drain fast, now is the time to give our young players some valuable playing experience. That will allow management to better know what to do after the season is over --- who to keep, and who to trade, etc.

so is this another guy we're going train and develope for the rest of the league to have.like James Jones, Fred Jones, Primo Brezec, ect ect. while we keep overpaid overhyped hotheaded loose cannons.
I'm at a loss. I don't know what we need to do. everything is just not the same since reggie left. theres no real leadership, or theres too much of a power struggle for those who want to be the guy in charge on the team. i think thats the main problem.
but I'm still with them. I was with them back in the 20-62 years, I'm with them now. my a** is superglued to the wagon. but somethings got to happen, cause its just not going in the right direction

"Walsh said he sees the drop-off as a combination of adjustments to the trade, injuries to players such as O'Neal and Daniels, a difficult March schedule that featured 10 road games, all against teams in the playoff chase, and a subsequent loss of confidence."

Or could it be that Walsh is an idiot and would not know talent if it hit him in the face. Look at the man's draft record. Wen will the truth about Walsh be recognized in this State.

18 Seasons NO RING
18 seasons ONE FINALS APPEARANCE
18 Seasons WHERE ARE OUR 1ST ROUND DRAFT PICKES TODAY.

If Walsh is a genuis then the front office staffs and leadership of the Utah Jazz, Detroit Pistons, Dallas Mavericks, Pheonix Suns, San Antonio Spurs and Las Angles Lakers are the second coming.

Again I ask, where are the owners? Oh yeah they are in California cashing those checks from their favorite cash cow the Hoosiers of Indiana.

The Pacers not only need help fundamentally,But help spiritually much like Tony Dungy's impact on the Colts that helped them when their championship.

How come nobody complained about Carlisle being a 'bad coach' a few years back when we were setting the franchise record for wins in a season?

Then after the brawl, when Carlisle had to piece together a team....everyone loved him!

Now all of a sudden it's the evil Rick Carlisle's fault. I don't buy it.

I've been boycotting the games. Haven't been to 1 this year. Also, since the 8 second saloon debacle I haven't watched a single game on tv. Sorry guys...but I told you...get rid of Tinsley or you lost one fan.

man im sick of fans talking about how they are sick with the pacers off the court incidents. Get over it the main reason the 8 player deal happened was because of fans wanting gentlemen players. the stupidest person in the world wouldnt have pulled off that trade. al harrington alone is better than everyone we got from golden state (besides ike diogu) combined. Now you guys want to get rid of tinsley. That is really stupid. If the trade never happened we would have about 42 wins now because that team was talented and we had the homestand coming.

They beat the SPURS by a point tonight. While I would love for them to make the playoffs if it's 1 & out maybe the lottery would be better.

You know we got some young blood in there with Diogu, Granger, Harrison and Williams. Carlisle just needs to give them the keys to the car and let them run wild. Who cares if we loose now. Let those three get a majority of the playing time and see how they do. We have to start building for next year and see who can cut it out there. Who cares about the playoffs this year. We will be one and down this year. Shut Foster and JO down and give the ball to Diogu, Granger, Harrison, and Williams and get them real meaninful playing time out there. That is the only way these kids are going to develop. We have some pieces to work with and there is hope. To bad we might not have a first round pick this year.
