Bobcats forward Walter Herrmann was named NBA Eastern Conference T-Mobile Rookie of the Month for games played in March after averaging 12.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and shooting 58 percent and 47 percent from three-point range in 13 games.

The 6-9, 225-pound forward posted double-figure scoring in nine games, including a career-high 23 points on Friday in the Bobcats 97-81 over Milwaukee. Herrmann also posted his first career double-double with 19 points and a career-high 10 rebounds in the Bobcats 108-100 overtime win on March 20 against Cleveland. Read more
