sure would be nice to have Millicic and Ariza back. The Magic have shot themselves in the foot with those two trades, Deshawn S. would be nice to have back also. Garrity for a center would be sweet, if anyone would take that trade. All-Star break will hopefully give Stan some time to explore his bench and Otis might pull some defense out of his butt.

I have just heard through a reliable source that the Magic are in the process of making a deal with the New York Knicks to obtain Zach Randolph and Nate Robinson in exchange for Pat Garrity, Keith Bogans, and J.J Redick.
Right now it is just a matter of dotting the t's and crossing the i's and then this deal will be fully constipated.
Not sure if everyone who replied to this idiot realized, but he said this deal will be " fully constipated" meaning it, like him is full of $h1t.
Here is a more realistic trade with the knicks. we get veteran pF in Rose and size at teh 2 guard spot.

This team needs a leader more than a PF or defensive minded players.
They need a Kidd that would direct the offense and get on his teammates.
He did a great job in the Olympics trial-outs in Las Vegas and he would do a great Orlando

What your saying is true, but not realistic. There is nothing that we can offer the Nets for KIDD. The nets problem area is the same area we need help with- power forward. We have to think about what is in our grasp without having to blow up a good team.
But you are very correct in that the Magic lack leadership. They are a good team and have good chemistry, but they don't have that vocal leader that will take the last shot or put someone in their place. For that matter, that kind of player isn't around on most NBA teams. Spurs have proved that you don't need that kind of player to win a championship

I say sticking to the players I mentioned makes more sense since the Magic do not need another SG. It's like adding another pint sized pg.

this is just another government plot to sink the magic to the bottom of the standings so they can get the number one pick again.when will the left and right just become the middle?

I think that the spurs are full of leaders and Argentine and a Frenchman
are by nature outspoken and Duncan was trained by Robinson.
A leader does not have to scream and shout, the best leaders do their job quietly one on one and lead by example. I think the Spurs are full of good leaders.
We need this in Orlando.

So try this trade Garrity and Battie to Philly for a decent center who can score and really help out Howard and not so old that he would be worthless after one season.

INTERESTING!! Almost all the trade scenarios include Vasquez. WHY?? Do you think it adds enough value to the trade for the other team to take it??

Otis says he is not going to make any deals. I think all of us agree we need a PF and PG deal. Does Otis know Vasquez is finally coming to the USA and we just need to be patient?? Just some thoughts.

No I am not and if you check his stats you would know why.
Plus Philly is shopping him because they are trying to get their payroll down since they are paying lux tax.

Most of what I hear is that the Magic need to unload this guy because he isn't worth the ink. He is having a lousy year, but has signed a long term contract with his current team and it would cost the Magic or any other team millions to buy out his contract.
Also this is a player who has shown that he does not want to play for the Magic considering instead of coming to play for the Magic he signed long term contract in Spain.

Garrity is the worst player in the NBA...what are you smoking Kurt?

This team is one more losing streak away from barely making the playoffs...typical Tragic season. Why do I keep buying tickets to see this lame product? Same s*it different season. Magic front office/ownership are the biggest flops in basketball history and we pick up the tap. Go Tragic!

There are as many problems internally with the magic now as with the hockey guy... Otis needs to make some serious attitude adjustments or he will be gone too...
First of all, JJ belongs on the court with those guys, if he didnt then why would svg stick him out there in games that we have a chance to come back in when we are down... it is because he knows that he is the one guard that we have that can shoot us back into a game...
Secondly i heard Otis on the Dan Cillio(?) show yesterday say he wouldnt trade Turk, Jameer and another player for Jason Kidd... HE said that is quick like fix and we dont want that because Miami did that and they suck now... Well Miami also won a championship... they suck now because they are all old with the exception of wade... I think we would be much more like San Antonio when they won the Championship... Robinson was old, they one with him and Elliott then rebuilt with Duncan,,, just like we could do with Dwight .....

Hey Otis, it's New York on the line. Trade JJ. Quit trying to ruin his career. Set JJ free.

BTW that new car wash in downtown Orlando is looking for an assistant manager for the swing shift. YOU THE MAN!!!

The problem is not OTIS...he has made great deals as of late to improve and not making short term changes...I applaud him for that. I love the fact that he doesnt make quick fixes deals...Miami fact is on the ball. Yes they did win the championship...but what if they didnt....right now they have no space of doing anythign at all.
The problem right now is either the players not playing up to par or coaching...IMHO I think the players are having a hard time keeping up the lead and not aggressive enough. We are playing great if you ask me. We are just not consistent and that is not coaching. This team is much better from last year. Due to early success, lots of flaws were masked. ie. Lewis play of being a perimeter guy only. Its catching up now and he has to adjust..etc..etc... So I think this team will just have to work through it and we'll be just fine. Yes, there will be some dissapointing loses but they'll work through it. Boston lost to Bobcats too so go figure. Those things happen. If we didnt do as well as we did early...things could have been better right now playing wise but the record woudl have been worse. Time will tell. One thing for sure we have a great cast and built ready for the future.
Patience is important right now...GO MAGIC.

It seems that almost every1 here knows what is goin on with this team if u can call them that SVG has a pop a shot team that cant play D. Now some teams can get away with it but this team needs some cohesiveness and SVG needs to let every1 know thier role and know what is expected of them. The Magic are 1 word lax, until this team gets some fire under its butt they will struggle even with the shceduling about to soften. Some idenity it what we need some balance U dont know what your gonna get each night is a surprise. magic are a team u can bully around cause they wont break a sweat just loddy dottie. Svg has his work cut out.

Very true. SVG has his work cutout!
Team needs a some kind of wake up call. If you ask me that is all they need. They are playing great at times and consistency comes with gelling. Its about time they turn it around. I think we have a good cast but we just need to work on aggressiveness. I wish we had Darrel Armstront right about now. We need somebody like that on the floor. Dooling does that for us now but he is also ON and OFF a lot.

Great moves??? Dude, get real. Like drafting Frannie Vazquez or trading Ariza? How about adding a $100 million shooter and having roughly the same record you've had for the last 5 years? Or maybe signing Jaqueer to a pricey deal and stating he's the PG of the future. Need more great Otis decisions? You obviously don't know much basketball.
