Thanks for the grit...the fun...the enjoyment of seeing grown men play a game with the integrity and passion these Celtics did in 2010...For over 50 years I've followed the Celtics...from The Trade of Cliff Hagen for a guy named Russell to now... this Team showed all the heart that any coach or fan could expect or ask for...Hats off to Doc Rivers Celtics...and congradulations Lakers albeit a bit "lucky" on a great season...

"Truly Sickening": Ray Allen single-handedly won game two for Boston with 21 points from beyond the arc and he certainly wasn't the only reason they lost game 7. I am proud of what this team accomplished derspite all of the adversity...

Rivers must go. All his talk of TRUST, yet he couldn't trust his bench to hold, keep within 10 , or extend- a 13 point lead midway through the third quarter. He KNEW the vets were gassing yet he rolled the dice. Hell the Lakers were gassing too. Stick BBD, TA, NR, and even Williams inthere with Rondo and the speed would have at least kept the leads at 10 for 2 or three minutes to give the vets some rest. He said it himself, Sheed was done. Well then stick BBD or Williams in there. Someone who could run! UBuntu bull ***!
Plus he should've stopped the iso's with PP. He knew ever since PP accidentally smacked that referee earlier in the series he wasn't getting any calls going to the rim. Those rat-zebras stick together in their brotherhood of corruption.
No I'm not a conspiracy theorist. The ref's bullshit is not some grand scheme to make that fat ass John Lovitz clone Stern more money. It's simply petty favoritism, and vindictiveness. Maybe a little point-spread capitalism as well. I'd bet my house the FBI tailed Joey Crawford right after the game. Probably tailed everyone of the three blind mice.

No, the Laker's "D" on him WON the series for L.A. He had so many open looks in game two that the Lakers responded by aggravating him the rest of the way where even his open shots became unsettling.

It was a great series, but the "better" team woke up the last seven minutes of game 7 and took what belonged to them! The NBA Championship... AGAIN!!!

If they were the better team I think they mightve "woken up" a little bit sooner instead of getting their asses handed to them almost all of a legendary game 7 ha.

That's been the knock on them all year. Even Jackson says he has difficulty motivating them. And you are right, they almost "woke up" in the "losers" locker room. But I was inspired by Jackson's demeanor after L.A. went doen 3-2. He almost gave a guarantee without actually saying it in the post game interview.

Hey Ric, you might want to go back to 2008!! 38 free throw attepts to 10??? In a pivital game no less. Come on. The refs pretty much just felt sorry for the celtics and gave you're cry baby celtics the game. And the 39 point loss and the ole'defencse by the Lakers....when you get called for ever single little ticky tac foul, your going to lay off of your man. So the celtics got handed a title in 2008 with the ref's on the celtics pay roll. And yeh, there is B.S. with the ref's, and yes the refs suck. It's called advertising! MONEY!
It goes both ways. Everyone is getting in on the money. Look at it this way, the celtics shouldnt have gotten past Lebron but he just quit. Superman shouldnt be called Superman, just Super clown. Mr goof off when the play off's come around. So you got past them and you would not have if D. Howard was a half of what he braggs he is. Kobe dont play that. All business. At least you didnt have to see someone like pierce falling on the ground crying like a baby, getting carried out by 4 guys and then coming back "running" in two minutes? He should play for the Lakers so he can do some acting on the side. He'll need it in the years to come.
