Hey, Laker guys: forget any of those match-up problems, et al. If you just play the way you won in Denver in Game 6 and NOT be complacent - I'm sure you're going to get the rings!

The only way the Lakers can contain Dwight Howard is to put him in foul trouble. Le Bron James did not figure that out until it was too late, in Game 6. If Kobe, Gasol. Bynum, Ariza and company all make a run at Howard in the offensive end of the court, they will succeed at taking "Superman" to the bench. If they just try to put Bynum on him, all that does is get Bynum into foul trouble in NO TIME!

Walton is out weak lnk. If he plays on average the way he has in the past, were going to loose points.

If he steps it up and gets going it will be a nice add to the benches rescue from a tired Laker push that they will have to create in order to win against the Majic..

If the team comes out lazy were dead.

Fight on Lakers!

Without a doubt, the big question mark will be who will guard/contain SuperMan, and how it can be accomplished. Perhaps a combination of Bynum and Gasol double-teaming him might prove effective. However, if there is a double team, then Kobe or Lamar should shift over to provide assistance to a possible open jump shooter like Lewis or Turk.

The two regular season losses were earlier on in the season, when the composition of the team was a bit different.

Now, we have an even greater threat in Shannon Brown at point, should Farmar or Fisher not suffice.

Without question, we're going to need tip top performances from Gasol, Odom and Bynum. This means providing back-side help on defense, cleaning up the boards and blocking/deflecting shots. Orlando has great shooters in Lewis and Tukoglew, so we should be aware that they will be willing to put one up at anytime from almost any place on the court.

Godspeed Lakers. Laker fans- let's get together and feel alright!

Go Lakers!

Hey let's get off all this unacceptable if the lakers don't win it all talk and first congradulate them for go'in back to the finals again....
we are to spoiled. I want them to first realize what a impressive thing they've already accomplished by getting there again and how great it is that we fans get to watch our team again on the biggest b-ball stage win or lose. Of course I think they'll win but right now I 'm enjoying the fact there baaaaack!!!!!! Let's let them really enjoy it to they DESERVE IT.

I don't agree with this. First off, we are in the heat of battle being in game 1 of the finals. It is not the time nor the right place to reflect on how far we've come. Maybe for just a sec, but not for long. We need to properly scout the Magic by reviewing film, analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, and planning all the situations that can arise in the finals in order to be properly prepared.

For this team, it was clear cut from the beginning that anything less than a championship would be a let-down. We let things slip away last season against Boston, and so we're hopefully prepared and excited to get another crack at it. We must not be over-confident. We must not be timid. We should be strong in our resolve and prepared to play come tip off. Every loose ball. Every rebound. Every shot. They all count. Anything less than a championship should be a let-down, so we must put the past behind us for now, and concentrate on winning each game one at a time.
