Heat lose to Hornets 93-87 in overtime

Jermaine O'neal sucks! He is soft in the middle and embarrassing himself as an NBA player. I saw the game up close last night and he needs to really watch film of his game play.

Befitting of the team name - Chris Paul certainly is a Hornet. With that roster it's no wonder JPaul should always be mentioned as a MVP and also BScott as coach of the year. How that lineup and roster is contending for the Western Conference is mind-boggling.

Obviously another tough loss. Like most HeatFans, I had that one tucked away in the win column. Wade's fatigue showed up everywhere in his game from start to finish. Beasley played great even though West torched him and everybody else with his deft shooting touch. Spo needs to run all-day rebounding drills for JO. He makes no effort at all to rebound. Despite JO's refined skills, the Heat function better with Maglorie most of the time. Losing those rebounds at the end killed the Heat. At least the Big Cat makes some contact and fights for the ball unlike JO. The Hornets had no center last night but it didn't matter. Watching JO for another year will be torture. Where the hell is Mark Blount? Oh yeah - probably getting another manicure!

Don't try to cover for you incompetence, you should have prepared your players to foul and you didn't. That's two bonehead moves in the last 10 games.

We were in the penalty. Any foul and they are shooting. At that point in the game you let that wild, off balance, desperation, heave of a shot go up and live with the outcome. Would have been moot if Wade sinks his figgin free throws.

I have no problem with his D last night. He held West in check for 4 quarters and if Wade makes a free throw we arent even having this conversation. The shot West made with 11 seconds left was a very tough shot and cant be blamed on Beasley.

I am a huge Heat and Wade fan but I cant disagree. It makes me cringe when he whines everytime it doesnt go his way. He also needs to stop ignoring Beasley....if he would drive and look for him more he would up his assist numbers substantially. I cant believe I am talking about Wade like this....do any others agree?

Hey, The People of Florida those shots that West made were well defended by Beasley. Those were one legged fade aways. West just made them, there isn't anything you could do about that short of fouling him.

i could care elss if he is playing small forward. get him in the starting lineup!!!

plus he isnt a 4. he is a 3.
1 = chalmers
2 = wade
3 = beasley
4 = haslem
5 = oneal

that should be the lineup every game

FYI-he is difinitly not a 3. He could certainly play the position but would be able to defend the quickness of a 3. He is a 4
