I am a 61 year old long time piston fan. I let it slide by when the organization let big Ben leave. That hurt the team a little bit. But what was Dumars thinking when he traded Billups for A.I. The pistons used to be a team. Now they are four players and Iverson. Now they are steadily going downhill. Thanks Joe.

The core was geting older and a change had to be made. Unfortunately that entailed a step backward in order to improve but there will be an improvement after this season when A.I.'s and Sheed's contracts come off the books.

Its time to realize that for the next few years, the pistons are going to be the bottom feeders of the eastern conference, struggling to even make the playoffs. We have been eclipsed by the celtics, cavs, orlando, and atlanta. I can't see any meaningful free-agent this off season that would drastically improve the roster we have now. Boozer who is the probably the most coveted free agent, has a horrible history of being injured and probably continue that trend if the pistons ever get him. I just hope dumars has a few tricks left up his sleeve.

You obviously don't follow the pistons. They have been to 6 east finals in a row, now they have Iverson and they might not make the playoffs. The nuggets trade away AI and now they're top 5 in the west. He is not a team player, never has been and never will be. The pistons suck with him the coach knows it as well as the players.
