Well the only thing I can think of that pertains to Jameers comment is:

Hey Jameer, Stand Up and Say that!

<quoted text>Yeah, just like New Jersey, Chicago, Indiana and Cleveland over the last six years. They were all the up and coming teams that were going to overtake the Pistons. I'll take the ring and championship runs over potential any day.
The difference with those teams (except for Cleveland) is that we have Dwight Howard, who is already a monster at 22.

The Pistons have no one who can match him, so they foul him, hold him and be so called "physical" to him. But when he develops a mid range game, and he will, then there will be no stopping him. His defense is bound to be better also, no more giving 2 or 3 goaltends a game.

The Piston's best players are getting old. Your rookies are probably not going to be as good as the player's you got now.

This series might be almost over, but the Magic will come out and play. They don't sound like they're giving up. Can the Pistons take the game seriously, because if they don't they might be looking at a game 7.

Leesburgh? Sarasota? Altamonte Springs? Wow you guys from these big metropoltian areas have got old Detoit figured out don't you. We can't spell and were uneducated up north. I guess Florida has alot to offer, lets see, old people, rednecks and cubans, wow stand back. I was talking B-ball but you had to go and stick your heads in the fan blades, sure was nice to see all the replies to your pathetic attempts at cutting down a proud sports town. After all, it is just a game man. If you really do have issues with Detroit, come on up we would be happy to give you a tour of the westside. I think you would be very suprised at what we would have to SHOW you and also how quick and painfull your tour would be. Yea, come to Detroit we would love to HAVE you.

They'll only win if they don't turn over the ball more than 12 times and make 75% of their free throws.

Detroit is a slum. The arm pit of the country. Yeah ... I've lived in San Diego. A beach is nice wherever you live. Go play in Lake Michigan.

Excellent, I couldnt have agreed any more. If you think Orlando is bad you wont believe the third world dump the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area is. I have been to O-Town many times and thought of it better than South Fl is in so many ways. And yes the beaches do suck here so does the traffic, failing schools, crime, people, humidity, hurricanes, shitty hot ass furnace weather, corrupt politicians, poverty, lack of decent mass transit systems, "no peake engles", real screw jobs running the city and yea those Latin Kings and Bloodz gangs. To Sam and company, I have been to Michigan and I loved it and had no problems in D town. My father is from Detroit yea obviously every big city has problems but you act like Florida doesnt have its own problems. Try and stick to the topic of basketball instead this topic and discussion on "my place is better and yours sucks" is very beyond your age right? Stick to basketball.

Uh dude ... you live in Miami. No need to even respond to your post ... but I shall! The east coast has a beautiful coastline. Sebastion Inlet is a great area actually. Nice green water with some decent waves. Yeah ... FL has its problems. Every state does. I've lived in Orlando all my life (lived in San Diego twice as well) and like a previous poster said ... if I won the lotto tomorrow ... I'd still call Orlando (we don't call it "O-Town") home in a heartbeat. Now ... on the basketball ... GO MAGIC!!!

Magic fans cat stick to the topic of Basketball, in their hearts they know that the Pistons are the better team so they have to attack the city and the people that live in it. The Magic are a fantasy team, it's a "Me" team its 1 star who thinks he is the team, thats why they are failing. Pistons own the Magic they have owned them since 2003 when we came back when we were down 3-1 . Bottom line is Nelson is NOT Sheed, when Sheed says "I guarantee we'll win" he backs it up. Pistons in 5. GO PISTONS BEAT THE MAGIC!!!!!!

Ya this thing is over. Bad for the Magic and the NBA. Noone wants to watch Detroit play in the finals. But the way Boston looks on the road, I think the Pisons will make it to the finals to get swept by whomever makes it out west. Jameer, the only guarantee you should make is that you will hit your damn free throws next game.
Bob, the Pistons and Celtics handled the west at nearly the same winning percentage during the reg. season (roughly .600). Don't think that Vegas expects the P's or Celts (if they survive the LeBrons) will be a pushover for anybody in the west.

Also, Detroit developed their 2 rookie guards instead of flirting with 65-70 wins. Would you trade Nelson for Stuckey? I like our back-up guard better, and wouldn't make that trade.

Good luck next year... Go Pistons!

I have only one thing to say to our beloved Jameer Nelson, SHUT UP AND PLAY BALL, FOOL! Who do you think you are guaranteeing victory over a proven winner, The Pistons?

Unless your name is Rasheed Wallace, and you're wearing that other uniform, the one we'll be seeing in the Eastern Conference Finals next week, you keep your big mouth shut and bring some game to the court! Prove it with your play. Until you can do that, enjoy your off season.
