I will guarantee a win too since this is a must win situation. You cannot play Detroit's game. Detroit D is bigger than Orlando's O. Detroit Basketball!!!

Detroit is not the team to be messing with! They get bored when they play young soft teams. Now his stupid guarantee will only make the Pistons hungry to chew up the obviously over matched Magic, and spit them up all over the Palace floor. Tuesday will be the end of Orlando's season, Dee-troit Basketball is the only guarantee the Pistons will need. Jameer should guarantee he will practice his free throws this summer instead of his three point shooting!

Hey Tom ... the armpit of the country (Deeeetroit) you can have. I'll take a young team that has many years to go any day. Enjoy this Pistons squad. Their time is about up. Getting old fast.

The Magic took a huge step this year and are very close to becoming a contender for years to come. People forget how long it took all the greats to win it all. Howard is still 4 years away from hitting his prime, I'm glad to see them have won at least one agaianst Detroit and play well in all but the 1st game, big improvement and more to come next year.

Hey, that´s good analysis, polite and optimistic.
Doesn´t sound like you orlando fans at all..., first, you should fire nelson and arroio, they are good, but they will never be good in playoffs. Second, work in Howard´s LEGS. He sounds like the super-chicken, not superman. Turkoglu.., pff, turkoglu must go to the hood and play some ball, not basketball, ball. It´s the some problem with Yao Ming, this is the nba, you have to be tougher, he´s so polite, he needs to desire more, do more. He can be like Ginobili, but Manu is what he is because he doesn´t care about nothing, only wim. Hire some good Power forward also..., fire maurice evans, he´s nothing.
This Pistons-Magic is a tottaly mismatch..., not even one player from the magic is better than the opposite side from the pistons and the pistons have a team, while the magic is trying to get thre, but with the wrong pieces...

Lol Jameer you're not Rasheed. You can't make guarentees!

And to the guy from New York: Do you know anything about basketball? You can't just "fire" a guy, you can release him which will be a huge drain on your cap space or u can trade him. It's not as simple as firing them. And what's wrong with Howard's legs? Turk also had a great breakout year so I think he can be a star for this team. Orlando you're fine, just make some good draft picks and develop your young guns. As for now, you can watch Detroit sail to another conference Finals!!

I'm a big magic fan, but even i have some common sense.. this series is over come tuesday night. theres not a cold day in hells chance of the magic winning up in detroit.. not now,not after that kind of letdown lastnight. Looking forward to the future however, enjoy this while you can piston fans, your days of beating us in the playoffs are bout over. we are to talented, just lack experience is all, and you guys are getting as old as dirt.

The same stinch is over the Magic-- talented yet inexperience. What happened to >$100 million man, Lewis? He's the superstar and you look to Turk a who? Each year the coaching takes the blame. Same excuses, same Magic, same tragic. As long as LeBron is in the East and organization/fans with blinders on, we'll see "Tragic" endings.

Not even an article worth reading unless you like humorous basketball sayings.

Jameer: To short, not a PG, has a Hitler complex and thinks he will overcome his "Short"Comings. Not gonna happen.

Dwight: He cant shoot! Good lord I have preached all year he can ONLY DUNK! That's why he disappears... the defense knows he cant shoot from 6 feet out.

VanGundy excepts that these things happen. LOL what a guy... he admits he's a sucky coach and his team can be beat in just about any NON-Losable situation. Such as 20 point leads, LOL.

Jameer loves a challenge...he says that over and over. Well it's about time the Otis, SVG and Jameer accept the TRUTH!
He's TOO SMALL for the NBA!

Leg stretching operation may work? LOL!

Ya this thing is over. Bad for the Magic and the NBA. Noone wants to watch Detroit play in the finals. But the way Boston looks on the road, I think the Pisons will make it to the finals to get swept by whomever makes it out west. Jameer, the only guarantee you should make is that you will hit your damn free throws next game.
The Magic still need another piece or two to beat Detroit or any of the top teams in a 7 game series. We will beat them next year if we can add a PF and a couple of guards that can give quality minutes.

Yea just like Rasheed made that guarantee last year and the year before that right? LOL Either way make it to the conference finals you will still lose to whoever wins the Boston/Cleveland series... AGAIN.

Joe Dumars won't let this team get that down. Different people in the front office. Who they have may be getting old, but look at their ages, how fast do you think they're sinking?

How old will the Magic have to be before they win games like Game 4?

Pistons getting old? Stuckey's a rookie, so is Afflalo. Maxiel is in his 3rd year and Amir Johnson is only 20. All those guys are coming up under the tutelage of our all-star veteran players. Who would you rather have training your rookie point guard Billups or Nelson? Oh, and lets not forget the GM running the show. Other than Darko Joe Dumars has made some pretty solid decisions

I would have loved to get those three point back at the start of the 4th quarter i yesterdays game. Let's see, that would be a 2 point Magic win.....anyways,just dreaming.

This series is over. The Magic blew a chance to tie this thing at 2-2. Nobody showed up down the stretch yesterday. Missed free throws and rebounding cost us this game, plain and simple.

Thats what happens when you enter the playoffs without a single POWER FORWARD on the roster. The Magic are lucky the Raptors were the 1st round opponent. The Raptors are small and soft like us. No power forward, no chance at beating the Pistons with or without Billups.

Had Battie been able to make the active roster, this might be a different series all together, but that isn't the case and Detroit is too big for this Magic squad.

Just telling it like it is.

You guys are pathetic, spelling words, firing or what do you say? trading, waiving, whatever...
That is nothing kids.
Fact is, there are mismatches, no real ballers and dwight is not close to what it appears on tv, just because abc and espn are from disney all the highlights are from orlando or dunks, not about real balling and that´s what I mean.
True teams Know about that, see the spurs, pistons, lakers, bulls and the great dinasties. They are all about chemistry and defense..., as long as magic invests in guys like nelson, arroio, arroyo, whatever..., that should be a no-contender team, even with a developed Howard...
Grab some experience Magic, grab some guys who real play this game. Rasheed will be a plus to the magic, Battier would be a plus, Kenion Martin would be a plus.
No disrespect but, justificate your argument for a grammar spell error is so looser´s argument...

All, about the legs, that was a comment from the most intelligent guy in Orlando, Patrick Ewing. He commented to Howard that was he´s weak point, detroit knows that, so Maxiell, Dyess and Sheed of course, guard him with the legs..., if you know basketball, you know the power is in the legs, not the shoulders...

Sam, why do you take personal shots at Detroit fans? What does the current state of Detroit have to do with basketball. This means that you have nothing constructive to say, so you just take shots at the city whose team is better than yours. How many championships has the magic delivered to us? NONE!! So stick a sock in it, please...

Orlando fans seems to be the next one in line to say, "They will be next in line to be the best. And that Pistons are done next year." Lets look at the past 5 years according to the teams the Pistons have beat(and lost to at times). Chicago Bulls last year, Cleveland Cavs as well, Miami Heat the two years prior to that, and the Indiana Pacers before that. The common theme to all of this is that 3 of the 4 teams(besides the Cavs barely) are NOBODIES now after most fans thought they were going to be the next dynasty in the East. It seems that the fans in Orland are just as dellusional as the other teams the Pistons have played the past 6 years.

Deeeeetroit is the armpit of the country. There ... I said it again. While the Magic are young and growing ... that city will continue to be a miserable place to live.
