Kings get McCants

After a little more than 3 1/2 up-and-down seasons in Minnesota, Rashad McCants is history.

Even though this is a trade of spare parts this deal should work for both teams. The Wolves will rid themselves of a unhappy McCants and in turn recieve a young big in Williams that has potential. All contracts are expiring so regardless of what happens each team has the option of letting these players walk at the end of the season.

The title of this article, "Kings get McCants", should probably be rewritten to "Wolves get rid of McCants", or "Kings get stuck with McCants". The word "get" just seems overly positive when used in conjunction with McCants name, although I guess you can "get", or be diagnosed with, cancer, which is what McCants is.

Seems to me when you get in McFales Dog House you are a gonner. We did not get any thing for McCants worth mentioning.. A Power Forward that is over weight and never did live up to potential.. Is McFale still in charge?...Looks like a McFail move to me. Why don't the wolves hire a personel person that knows players and basketball and put him in charge and only him..Don't look like we have any in our organization! Lets start looking for that person now!!!
