Mr. Powell explain why all of you media personalities want to discredit Marbury. The difference between Nash and Steph is Phoenix has scorer at every position.

Nash doesn't play a lick of defense however you guys never bring that up. This was evident when Crawford after Curry went down scorched Nash for 20 plus as well as serving up 11 assist. Whenever Marbury have a hard time defended anyone all game you guys make mention of it. None of you pundits ever say anything negative about Nash.

Powell as a american of African Decent are you such a uncle Tom that you are afraid to give derogatory comment on caucasian players? However you are always looking to put down the American of African decent. How can you sleep at night with your bias reporting. I guess you do anything to fit in with your white conterparts.

Powell, Arenas scored 51 on Nash and none of you mentioned the poor defense Nash played. Marbury the only athlete to make affordable sneaker for the youth and you guys continue to assasinate his character. I can understand it coming from white columnist however, it's inexcuseable coming from you when obviously you understand basketball.

When you got your job did they make you, Stephen A.Smith, Wilbourn and the crew take a course in contnuing to keep alive all the negative Sterotypes. It seem that you and all lost your souls to appease your white conterparts. I'll continue to pray for you all since we need people in the media. However we need american of african decent unafraid to report the news without bias. Please respond if possible.

I think what you fail to realize is the guys that are scorers on the Suns are scorers BECAUSE of Nash! Can Marbury make Boris Diaw a scorer? Shawn Marion would be a nobody on other teams. Barbosa is the fastest guy on the team and gets half his points from Nash feeds. What does being of African descent have to do with anything? If Nash were black we'd be talking about him the same way

Man, look, Nash is the ULTIMATE point guard! I you try to compare him against anyone at his position they'll all fall short. Marbury is a shoot-first PG so it's unfair to compare the two, but it was Steph who proclaimed himself the "best PG in the NBA". And in respect to defense, neither one of them are world beaters! They both need weak-side help in order to effectively defend. BTW, Nash wasn't defending Crawford that game, it was Raja Bell. And he also wasn't on Arenas that whole game, everyone had a hand in giving up 51 to Agent-Zero! Steph had his chance in PHX with Marion and Stoudemire but he wasn't nearly as successful as Nash.

the amazing thing about Nash is that he's probably the first player in the NBA who's developed into a hall of famer AFTER the age of 30. He's only getting better and seems to have figured something out. Jordan played a different game after he turned thirty, too, but he had solidified his stature from his rookie year on. Nash had great years while in Dallas but strangely those were never his teams. The SUNS are clearly now his team.

Stephon is an excellent scorer and has the most unbelievable first step but once he sets his mind on scoring during a possession his tunnel vision takes over and his teammates end up standing and watching him go to the basket. Nash's teammates get in motion when he's dribbling and they know if they're open, he'll find them for a lay-up. No coincidence that Marion leads the league in dunks the last couple of years.

Enough Steph versus Nash... let's move on. They're both great players they're just different types of teammates.

My point exactly! While they play the same position, they are clearly different players! I'm just glad Steph wanted to go home to NY and my Suns got rid of his big-ass contract!

Comparing Nash and Marbury is like comparing Champagne and Colt 45. Nash is a legend while Marbury is an also ran. Nash would rather look bad and win(hence the big numbers guys put up on him night in night and night out-I even scored on Nash in High School believe it or not) and Marbury would rather look good and lose! This really is a non issue! Let us all bask in the glow of his stevieness!!!
