I never thought the Heat would be in a mode to "Pinch-A-Penny". That shows you how desperate we've become. What's next? Latrell Sprewell? Why not Duane Causeway? I know Hardaway is available too.

This team just gets older and older. The Heat sold it's soul to the devil with Shaq and now they are going down the tubes. It's only going to get worse as Shaq labors and shows his age. Where is the youth?

Strategically it makes sense to replace Gary Payton with Penny Hardaway. I wonder though why not also bring in Tim Hardaway to have a double Hardaway threat.

Are we sure that the owners of the Marlins are not also running the Heat. Hardaway, Jorge Julio, Benitez, etc.??? This shows exactly how much anti-youth Riley really is. This takes it to an extreme that he would do something like this, to spend and invest time on a player as old as this instead of bringing in any rookie or younger player that perhpas might give him better than the 2 or 3 weeks of play Hardaway will give before he breaks down.

THE TEAM IS BECOMING A TOTAL JOKE WITH big fat and often injured fat no free throw Shaq doing undercover police work and television shows for overweight kids instead of working on his game and conditioning. He is too rich and too fact to care much of what goes on.

Maybe we can lure Alan Ogg away from life as a bouncer and Alec Kessler away from life as a doctor to suit up. Why can't anyone ever bring back retired white guys, man!?

I guess because white guys are too stupid to EVER quit (Brett Favre, Morten Andersen, etc.)

i think penny's return to the NBA is a good thing especially for the Miami heats since he will be playing for them, it will take him a few games to actually get back to the old penny but with experience he will be a major fator for other teams to deal with epsecially with dwayne wade being healthy. The penny and shaq combination should be good to watch but the penny , wade and shaq combo would be even better to watch, but lets just wait and see how they will deal with it. Good luck penny.

Old Penny and flopping Wade will fight for wheel chair. It will be fun to watch.

This team may be lucky to make the playoffs. Maybe a lottery year would be more beneifical anyway....that's one way to get young talent - they sure ain't gettin' any now......
