he will be appreciated once this team starts winning . we all know how miami fans are . they love you when your winning aand hate you when you dont. its fact.( look at the marlins . heat ..pre shaq when they made it to the 2nd round.. and the dolphins couldnt sell out a playoff game.) the heat won when it was dwade the i option and shaq the 2 option. and _______ the third. this season dwade was the 1st but shaq fell to the 3rd or 4th option.+ the fact that they have no perimeter defense period. leads to the losses.( blame no one but riley on his gm moves .)

now with d wade as the one option and shawn marion as the two the heat are in dire need of a 3rd and a big man. now i would have someone like zo. fast atheltic strong defense strong offense. we need a big man as a 3rd option then were good. not great

The gifted guy needs to relax. Let the praise come, don't crave it. You will never be satisfied. Glad you're here!

I like the rebounding and energy! We have not had this in a while. He actually "JUMPS" for rebounds! If Wright gets enough playing time, he is capable of the same energy and should be groomed to run with Shawn!

We love you Shawn in Miami, I'm buying your jersey. The only Heat jersey I ever bought was Wade and now yours....

Even though the Heat lost on Sunday, I'm excited about the future. They look energetic and younger. Hopefully this style of play with be good for a guy like Dorell Wright, who has not had the chance to blossom. Oh, and did you notice that Shaq had trouble with his conditioning in his first Suns practice? Thank you, Phoenix, for helping the Heat that much more quickly!

Used to watch the NBA when 90 percent of all the players weren`t black.

I'm not sure why he was ovewrshadowed in Phx, but here in Miami he will alter the playing style that has long been outdated and in need of some viatality and energy. He alone with his stat-sheet stuffing efficiency will change the way this HEAT team plays the game of Basketball. In that regard, he will be just as dominant as Shaquille, in that he will force tempo, hustling plays, energy, and a general excitement to and in the game. I mean he's exactly the kind of player Riley & Wade need and want. This brother can rebound, score, defend, and lead by example with the manner he approaches the game. I know for a fact he's a gym rat. He loves to practice and work at his craft. Young players like Wright, Cook, Anthony, Johnson and Quinn would do well to study Shawn's mental approach. Lastly, I believe this team & community will rally around him and give him the "props" he yearns for. There are just too many things he does well for anyone to overlook him and his contributions. I for one am excited as hell he is here, and I look forward to what the "Matrix" can bring this team. We already have "Neo" as Wade, now they can make an equally impressive duo, until our third star arises. Marion, in case you haven't heard you are the shiiznit....and Miami is damn lucky to have you... We love what you bring to our team player.....don't ever forget it!! Let's Go HEAT!!!

ExFan so what's your point. Was the game better, doubtful.. You need to embrace diversity in all places. Next, try picking up a self-help book, or reading some best sellers from Oprah's book club. A mind is a terrible thing to waste, and you seem to be doing a good job of that already...

My point is that the NBA is not diverse.

Marion was not under appreciated in Phoenix. He was the highest paid player, a multiple time all star, and a fan favorite.
