This is good news. Still, the referees are so screwed up that it takes them an after-the-game appeal by the Magic to properly reverse their decision.

All that Lebron needs to do to get fowled on the next game is dribble the ball. The referees will then assign a fowl at the closest Orlando Magic player within 15 feet.

Exactly why I do not like pro sports, rules are adjusted to meet the circumstance or situation. If you have a judgement call and it is determine to be incorrect address the person making the call do not change the rule or call. It had no effect on the game. But NBA adjusts to meet the need of the players.
Did the league remove Ewing's "T" oh no he did not have enough "T's" for him to be in trouble.

As a season ticket holder we have seen outrageous calls all year. Hack'a'Shaq is now Hack'a'Dwight. If you touch Kobe it is a foul. For Dwight on offense the refs ignore 3 fouls on one play and don't call a defensive foul until the 4th is committed on Dwight. So the refs have trained the Magic that they must beat the other team and the refs. Thank you NBA. But when do we start firing refs like Joey Crawford the most arrogant old bald headed ugly ref? The two refs with him always defer to him and they need to be gone too.

I know. I cringed after hitting "Post Comment" realizing what I've done.

Well, fowl is a synonym for rooster. You can say that the Magic has been "(0cked" as in "C-blocked"?

You are so right about that grammar thing. No wonder newspapers are falling fast. They are now the followers and no longer the leaders.

Not only is your grammar bad, but you can't spell either. What's in the water in O Town?

The article is wrong. Williams got three free throws (I assume 2 for Dwight's tech and one for Ewing's), and he made two of the three. It was a terrible call that stifled a lot of momentum the Magic had following Dwight's play.

I honestly thought refs did a better job last night. I have been tracking at 3 calls per quarter in favor of Cavs and LBJ. However last night only 5 horrible calls!!!! This is the 4th time that the other team has been given points to control outcomes of games, 3rd time in this series alone.
So what if we had lost last night? Then would the NBA overturn the outcome... of course not. And David Stern doesn't see a problem with his refs, this is acceptable? In this day and age this just can't be as close to a fair game as we can get.
They stop the game to show fawning replays of Lebron retying his shoes or whatever (I know but "he's the best shoe tier ever"!!) so why can't they get the calls right when there is obvious evidence that anyone can see (I know the re-play rules very clearly) yet the NBA is able to sweep it under the rug each time. And no accountability afterwords (where are the overseers, state sports commissions, FBI, media ect).. the fish stinks from the head down Mr. Stern! You have done nothing but ruin a great and decent game please retire and take your greed stained hands off the game. I will never visit the basketball hall of fame again if you get inducted!
Some of us actually love the game and would like to see real champions. By the way I can tell talent for myself I don’t really need the NBA to “tell” me who is a great player is, just let them prove it on the court! You know like the real “American way”.

I know i've been on here a few times complaining about the calls, but since the technical was rescinded i'm done complaining. We finally got a break. In addition, the Magic are still winning despite the refs and the media is finally noticing the officiating bias as well (Charles Barkley should run for President). Last game's officiating was better except for maybe 2-3 no/bad calls; and the technical (Some of you may disagree but it was much more balanced). That is acceptable to me. Good luck magic!

NBA Ref Scott Foster is on the take, so is Joey Crawford. They both were boys with the scumbag (TD) who fixed games for years. After watching them in Game 3 and 4 it was confirmed. They both game Howard a T and tried their best to hit the over and the line. The NBA needs to take a good look at these two. Dirty, dirty, dirty.

That is great and all but here is the point. The refs calling that T was an attempt to try and steer the momentum of the game. This was a huge play and Dwight was jacked. Causing the entire team to be jacked..So the refs call and stop the flow and quiet everyone down..Luckily we fought and fought regardless.
You are absolutely correct. What a momentum shift this type of thing is. Are you kidding me with all that is on the line for both teams it better be an obvious T (like Fisher did). Come on refs!!!!
Go Magic!!
