As much as I believe the Celtics were superior,in my opinion there is no doubt that the refs and especially the media were strongly biased against Lakers.Sorry but this is the truth, all the bumping, grinding, hacking, pulli ng and grabbing alas Celts don't get whistled nearly enough.Kobe Bryant was a nearly a 'slap-boy',this is a literal translation of a Turkish idiom referring to someone's being bullied and slapped all the time,Celtics as perfect as their defense is were like always protected by invisible hands from media to very timely Tim Donaughy to soul of Red from up above.Yes they were demolished yesterday, they embarrassed themselves blowing up a huge lead couple of games ago,but all this smells foul, something is fishy,it's like a grand conspiracy, staging of a master puppeteer.
I don't know guys,I do not want to call 'rigged' but all the odds/gods/whatever was against Lakerland in a perfectly peculiar way.

Don't ever try and compare Jordan with Kobe. This finals series just ended all the conversation. Jordan would never be embarassed like this and he is undefeated in the Finals because he is more talented and has a much bigger heart then Kobe.

LOL, here we go again, listen.. I've been on team boards after loses only to hear the same crap, the refs.. From the Patriots to the Redsox every time we in Boston win a title it's not the team that won but the official whom gave the game to them as in losing a 24 point lead the refs helped the lakers by extending there season the lakers where just that bad not to be able to finish what the refs where trying to help them with.

Yeah, same old story. Team loses blame the refs. It's tough when you only have one sport team to count on.

Your comments are typical of a losing fan, I heard them all. Boston is the top of the sports world with multiple champions, now if we can get the Bruins on board.. LOL

Fact is Schilling, Bill Simmons and Matt Damon confirm Kobe is a petulant jerk during games - no matter how many times he holds his children in public. It's the Barry Bonds school of getting sympathy.
MJ never let a team lose at home with a 24 point lead, MJ always showed up in a clinching game. Kobe is Scottie Pippen - at best. You would be in awe if you ever met MJ but you wouldn't let Kobe buy you a drink - it's his flippant, arrogant disposition that he was born with.

Better to lose with Paul Pierce than win with Kobe.

And the Euro-marshmallows on your team were great... for the Celtics. I think the Grizzlies made a steal. I with the Lakers luck in finding their manhoods.

i would agree that boston is at the top of the world in sports right now. but the whole spygate really brings them down a notch in my book. i cant stand the patriots and that is why it makes me even more mad that they cheated their way to those championships. i really dont have a favorite sports town because i am a viking, bulls, spurs, and sox fan. if all of them could just win at the same time then i would be happy.

Thank god this series is over.... We now can view the news on tv, and print and not see 'Laker' all over it....
By the way. Why the hell are they called the 'Lakers'?? It's a Minnesota thing, isn't it?
Time for a change....
I'll go ask some gangbanger what he , or she, thinks. I bet , he or she, does not know where the 'Laker' came from.

To the webmasters and forum administrators, why is it that:(1) you have this annoying practice of changing the titles of articles,(2) when you do so, all previous postings are annoyingly erased.

Congratulations to the Celtics and their fans.....enjoy your trophy as the next one you will see will be in 2029 years. Must've been feeling so lucky being in the Leastern Conference. But the Pistons will be healthier next year.....your team will not be the Atlantic Division nor the Leastern Conference champs next year.

Your Patriots will always have that asterisk besides their championship when they played the Rams and there's still a lot of MLB games to go and the Yankees will have more wins than the Red Sox this year.....your fan's cheating attempt to hex the Yanks will backfire on your city.

Kobe MVP?
Maybe the MVP stands for Most Volatile Pig!
For crying out loud, Kobe is just a wanna be Jordan and the lakers are a wanna be team. How pathetic they were last night! Absolutely disgusting! I have a great idea about changes for next year. Why dont we trade ALL the lakers, including Kobe, send them all to Boston, and lets take all the Boston players and have them play in LA. I bet next year we'd win for sure!!!

If you've scored 81 points or more in an NBA game and have been voted by fellow players and sportswriters for the MVP award, you've earned the right to see Mitch Kupchak and Jerry Buss about your great suggestion.

Until then.....suggest you keep them to yourself.

We don't want Bryant in Green. It's OK, Lakers, you can keep him.

That 81 didn't bring a ring, did it?

The ATL Hawks could have beat the Lakers. Boston is simply TitleTown right now. I'll admit that I'm jealous of Boston. I'm not going to hate on 'em though. Boston teams are just better, it wasn't the refs or cheating or whatever. Boston just dominates right now. Go Hawks!

That is the cry of all cries, the whine of all whines and the dumbest denial I have ever heard in my 56 years as a Celtic fan.! Check the box scores to see how the fouls stacked up, check the broadcast tapes to hear how Kobe is God, read the SoCal press medias' proclamation that the Lakers are the best team in the NBA...why? Because they played fewer play off games. Pathetic...you Faker fans are all pathetic.
