This text is replaced by the Flash movie. The owner has said he expects him back and so do the players, but Kevin McHale has declined to make it official. Full Story

For the players sakes, I hope he decides quickly and that his decision is to return. The players have had so many changes and I think it is necessary for them to have continuity in their coach. They seem to play well for McHale and respond well to his style of coaching. His GM time aside, he is doing well with what he has had to work with this year and I hope he returns. We saw in Janualy what he could do with a fairly healthy team.

I'd also like to say that McHale isn't the only GM who has made mistakes. Who was to know Marbury would turn out to be a head case and Allen a superstar? Ebi was also a bust - but could just as easily turned into a good player. I don't think we can totally judge him by a few bad deals.

McHale Can coach because he knows the game and he excelled despite being not very athletic. His inside footwork and moves were exceptional and he can help Love and Jefferson. Saunders is no loss, he is a solid coach but doesn't command respect. McHale is as good or better than anyone out there waiting to be hired. This team with a solid draft with a guy like Thabeet added to the mix could be good.

If this team is ever a factor again while McHale is around I would be shocked. This team has been in contention ONE season out of 15 or so that he has been here. Of course it is not all his fault but he has been a major contributing factor to the failure of this franchise. His time is up.

And we had one of the greatest players of our generation on our team for a majority of those years!

And we are supposed to be concerned that McFail may not return as coach because??? The expertise he's provided to this team over the past years in player selection and talent development is just absolute proof that the village of Hibbing is missing its idiot!

McHale can coach this team. He has proven twice now that he can. 7 healthy players down the stretch and he still wins a few means a lot to me. As a GM he ges too much crap as well. He had no control over several things that he gats lambasted for. Such as Marbury not wanting to play here. Say what you want about the trade but if Marbury stayed and was happy then different story. Chauncey Billups made his choice to leave too, not McHale. Spree needed to feed his famly. If Jaric would have played like he did for the Clips that trade would have been less reviled as well. The Ebi pick was bad. I will take Kevin Love over stop and pop in Mephis all day.

Many GM's never get to put a team together like MV3 and make that run. Elgin Baylor for one. McHale is allright in my book.

Um..why would we want him back? It certainly can't be because he's done such a great job this year! I'm still at a loss as to why the love fest with te T-wolves and him continue. He has set this franchise back with his decisions. A great basketball player but a below average front office guy. Let's move on already.

Would you like to give up 3 first round picks for Joe Smith?

Would you rather have Brandon Roy (22.8 ppg, 5.2 apg, 48%) or Randy Foye (16.3 ppg, 4.3 apg, 40.1%)?

Would you rather have Mario Chalmers or Sebastian Telfair?(Chalmers: more points, assists, better shooting percentage, better 3-point percentage and JUST A ROOKIE)

Would you rather have Danny Granger (25.7 ppg) or Rashad McCants (9.5 ppg)?

How'd that 4 year, 25 million dollar contract for Mike James work out?

You forgot William Avery.

How about trading Wally, Olawakandi AND A FIRST ROUND PICK for Blount, Davis, Reed and Marcus Banks? Let's see, how many of those guys are on the team?

Corey Brewer's been a stud at least.

“The Wolves' non-pursuit of former coach Flip Saunders, who reportedly is headed to Washington, or any other top coaching candidates speaks volumes about their expectations.”

Yeah, their "expectations" are another year of horrible basketball.
