I'd rather the Bulls go without a win all season than to bring Kobe here! we need to see if Will Perdue would play again!

The beginning of this season isn't all that different from the previous starts of the season. The Bulls under Skiles seem to always have a hard time getting it together in the first month before taking off.

Sorry...I'm in the business of winning...another pathetic and horrific display of offense by the Bulls tonight...unless they ar elights out from the perimeter EACH AND EVERY NIGHT, this team is going nowhere fast...bring Kobe and the reinforcements to town...we need Kobe...we don't need Ben Wallace and Kirk Hinrich and Ben Gordon...we need Kobe...

let's see;

PG-overrated,foul prone,so-so in clutch-- check
sg-undersized,bad defensively, bad in the clutch-- check
sf-great as a sidekick,2nd or 3rd option,cannot takeover game--check
pf--great young talent never on floor when we need energetic legs for rebounds and put backs--check
c--an overpaid complete waste of space holding a true center back--check

but put together they form a "core" that can't be broken up for Kobe Bryant the greatest player out there who happens to play defense and is driven to win?

John Paxson,K.C. Johnsson, and Sam Smith surely you jest, shame on you all.

Saw the Bucks game in person. Shame on the numbskulls above who don't seem to get it. This Bulls team doesn't have a consistent scorer, go-to-guy, finisher, or offensive threat. Go watch them in person and see how pathetic they look on offense. The trade for Kobe looks real good to me. Their are no untouchables on this Bulls roster, Deng included.

Well, here you have it. The Bulls core is soooo good that they pass on the greatest basketball player on the planet, then proceed to lose to 3 teams who are mediocre at best. Great job front office. All they've done is expose how UNGREAT that "core" really is. Who's gonna want ANY of that talented core now? And by the way, the Lakers just blew out Phoenix in Phoenix. While this great "core" of talent was losing to those NBA juggernauts Philly, Milwaukee, and New Jersey. John Paxson must have come from the same talent evaluation school Jerry Angelo and Ken Williams went to. Maybe it's the water...

Charles Barkley, whom I can't stand, visited the WGN morning news last year. When asked about the Bulls chances to become champions. He repllied, "They have a lot of good players, just no great ones." Bingo,he hit it right on the head!Get Kobe!

I wish I was in Boston now ... Celtics - good, Red Sox - WS Champs, Patriots - really good, Bruins - tolerable, BC - good ... Chicago as a sports town sucks butt.

To all those people who don't want Kobe (The Best Player In The World) I'd have to ask if you are happy with the Bulls 0-3 start? Because it's real hard to win when your highest paid player makes ZERO impact in most games, can't score and is getting real old real quick...it's also real hard to win in a much improved conference with ZERO postup players and ZERO inside scores...it's also hard to win when you have to rely on your JUMPSHOT EACH AND EVERY NIGHT...This team, as is, will be lucky to win 45 games...yeah, we don't need Kobe...WE DESPERATELY NEED KOBE...

Yes, bored with pre-season so they start with 3 losses and no idea of how to play the way they player last year, late. Lazy, far too high-paid athletes they disgust me.

No postup threat, no go-to guy, a fifteen million no show in the middle = no chance.

Yup this says it all. I sure don't want to break up this "core" of mediocre players for a true superstar. Don't worry anti-Kobe Bulls fans, if the Bulls play like this for another week or so Kobe won't be coming here for sure. Kobe wants to play for a winner.

I know it's still early but can everyone please stop giving Paxson and Skiles credit for building nothing. They have driven off more talent in the last 3 years than is currently on this roster because those players didn't play the "Skiles brand" of basketball. What brand is that...scoring??? This is not college and it isn't 1950. You know what kind of players buy into Scotty-ball? Mediocre players that are just happy to be in the league. Which is kinda what we have now. Maybe Gordon and Deng turned down their offers for non-monetary reasons.

Southside Rob hit the nail on the head. How can we stand pat with this team? It will never win anything with Gordon and Hinrich as the starting backcourt. Why is everyone in love with Hinrich? Ship,'em.

I really cannot understand how Paxson stood back in the offseason and liked the way that his team was constructed. What exactly is he looking at? Does a real GM think that an under-sized jump shooting team can really win against a taller and more athletic backcourt...let alone a team with a real post game? Wasn't the result of that strategy pretty obvious against Detroit who is not even one of the best teams.
His answer was to get Noah and Joe Smith? He should be fired for the Wallace signing alone. Forget Gasol, Garnett and Kobe...we have Luol Deng! My God how does he have a job??? Oh I know because he is a nice white guy who communicates with the fans and the media well. Plus he seems to really care about doing things the right way. Those are wonderful traits and they tranlsate into a 45 win team and that's if they stay healthy.
