Bulls topped by Bucks' bench

Charlie Villanueva came off the bench to score 11 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter and seldom-used Dan Gadzuric had 11 points and 14 rebounds, lifting the Milwaukee Bucks to a 97-90 victory over the Bulls ... Full Story

Rose, Deng because he is there and will get better, Thabo because he is honest and a team player and should get minutes, Gray as back-up center, Tyrus because he CAN get better too. The rest should go as soon as possible and so should Paxson because someone has to pay the price for putting together this team. Team chemistry is so important. We WILL win a championship with Rose if the right moves are made and he remains healthy.

2009 All Star Statline: 19 PPG, 6 APG., 493 FG%. Vote for Derrick Rose starting Eastern Conference Guard (along side perhaps fellow Chicagoan Dwyane Wade) at Bulls.com or NBA.com . Vote daily, vote often. Paid for by citizens for Rose for 2009 All-Star Game.

Woe is us until we get better production out of the front line; you can't put your power forward way outside to whiff on jumpers when you've got no one down low to go after offensive boards and put-backs. Other than Rose, who was taking the ball to the rack? No one. Instead, they continue to settle for outside jump shots. Once again, the team played without any semblance of rhythm in their floor game, out of synch, and in spurts. Del Negro is still searching for combinations on the floor that work going on 15 games into the season. And what's with Sefalosha and him being anchored to the bench? This team is made up largely of role players that don't seem to have any chemistry together; and the trade-market value of anyone other than Rose has to be about nil. A pathetic situation given this unit is about 5 years into the latest re-building after the Jordan era.

does anyone besides myself notice how the game gets away from the bulls the moment nocioni is inserted into the line up? he'll turn a lead into a deficit or he'll turn a deficit into an insurmountable lead. then he's pulled from the game and has no part of a comeback, which is impossible of course if he were on the court. i can't figure out why skiles nor del negro puts him out there. he disrupts the flow of the offense because for some reason someone has him thinking that he is the offense. this guy is awful. the guys can't play with him. no amount of playing time is gonna correct this chemistry problem. package nocioni with noah and gray and get us a legitimate big man that scores sometime, geez!!! for gods sake. anyone will do.

Chicago Bulls could have been lineup:

2003 NBA Draft: Chicago #7 select.. Kirk Hinrich - could have had David West, Kendrick Perkins, Josh Howard

2004 NBA Draft: Chicago #3 select.. Ben Gordon and #7 Luol Deng - could have had Devin Harris, Al Jefferson, Josh Smith, Kevin Martin

2005 NBA Draft: Chicago no picks

2006 NBA Draft: Chicago selects #2 LaMarcus Aldridge(trade for Tyrus Thomas and Victor Krhyapa) and #13 Thabo Sefelosha - could have had Brandon Roy, LaMarcus Aldridge, Rudy Gay

2007 NBA Draft: Chicago picks #9 Joakim Noah - could have had Al Thornton, Rodney Stuckey, Wilson Chandler, Spencer Hawes

2008 NBA Draft: Chicago selects #1 Derrick Rose(lucked out/obvious choice) and #39 Omer Asik traded away 3 future second round draft picks

Chicago Bulls could have been lineup:

David West Al Jefferson Al Thornton

Brandon Roy Devin Harris

Instead John Paxson's brilliant lineup

Tyrus Thomas Joakim Noah Luol Deng

Ben Gordon Kirk Hinrich (followed by Derrick Rose luck out).

For the love of god FIRE John Paxson NOW!!!!!!!!!!

At one point people were picking this team to go to the championship and the lineup wasnt too different from what it is now.
Some of these names were upcoming "Stars" of the league. What happened from that almost championship season to now? Most of the names are the same?

Somehow the Bulls offense freezes out the hot shooter. Just keep feeding the hot hand. First Deng then Gordon but they were passed to inconsistently. Pass then it's one on one. And please play some defense. For Pete's sake Luke Ridnour was beating the Bulls? Perhaps the Bulls were tired from the Philly OT game because they all looked a step slow.

Dear Fans:

I am sorry it looks like we have another sub par team. Don't worry I will draft another sub par player, you can count on that. I appreciate all the fans paying 150.00 a ticket in these tought times. Finally, thank you Michael because without you this screw up that I have done with this team would not be possible if I was not able to ride your coat tales.

Take one look at the Bulls organization from top 2 bottom. U will realize that this team is not constructed 2 compete 4 an NBA title in any way, shape or form. They are costructed 2 CON sports fans out of their money. Period.

Why all the angst about the garbage on the team other than Rose? I've decided to put a moritoriam on dissing these guys. It's like making fun of the handicapped. It's not their fault the Bulls drafted or traded for them.
Just appreciate Rose when he is on the court. Recognize that he will have a total makeover of teammates in 2 years and by then he will have a mean streak in him and getting the foul calls. This season is just paying the dues.
Like I said the other day and I was mocked- 25 wins unless they make wholesale roster changes.

I'm not sure if it's the new offense that's giving Deng the problems, or the fact he's now playing with a PG who speeds up the action, and looks for players moving towards the basket to make feeds to. Last season's version of, at least when he wasn't sitting it out due to whatever ailment he was suffering from, most likely the i want more money aliment, but that's another story, but last season's version of Hinrich dribbling through and throwing kickouts to Deng for 15 footers isn't the offense Rose plays. If Rose takes it in on the dribble, then if his forwards aren't on the move for a dishoff, he'll finish it at the basket himself. So Deng ends up just standing around way too much, and 71 mil. says, he needs to be doing more.

First off another game the Bulls let slipp away. Finally Deng came to play, but the bigs didnt. wHY DIDNT dEL nEGRO, BRING nOAH BACK INTO THE GAME, our bigs were getting manhandled lastnight, Noah didnt play bad. Arron Gray is too SOFT, CANT make layups under the basket, cant hold on too the basketball, he should be dunking when he is in the paint. Also the coach waits too long to bring guys back in the game when their hot. Gordon was smoking in the third, so in the fourth quarter with the game in hand, Gordon & Deng should have been taking the shots, I understand everyone wants the ball in roses hands, but thats when he has to set up Deng & gordon in certain situations, Eventually teams will cut off his drive & force him too shot. And Nocioni had a costly turnover when the Bulls were down by three. Whats up with Gordon only taking one shot in the fourth quarter. Blame Vinny for that. In basketball you keep going to the hot hand. And please Rose needs to play better D NOWAY DOES Luke Ridinour score at will. They need to get it together, guys need to understand their roles. Everyone thinks they are a scorer that can carry the team on their back, give me a break.

Gordon took plenty of shots to start the 4th quarter and missed them, most of them being forced shots. Vinny tried to let him keep shooting and he was just plain not hitting them when it counted. I would call ridnour shooting 5-13 for the game scoring at will. Thats not a good shooting percentage. It seems as if you didnt even watch the game last night...

why does sefalosha get no love? this really hurts cuz he's better than gordon and hughes. every point gordon makes he gives up with turnovers and defense and poor shot selection

I wish everyone would get off the Sefalosha bandwagon. He had his chance at the beginning of the year. He is benched because he can't shoot and his defense sucks.

It looks like Deng is coming around. We actually saw him play defense last night. Tyrus needs to start the rest of the year and Noah needs to be right next to Sefalosha on the bench. Neither him nor Gray can finish strong under the basket. Pretty sad for two 7 footers that can't dunk under the basket.

Not only should Paxson go but his entire staff.

Years of playing basketball & the egos who play for the Chicago Bulls need "to understand why it's important to share the ball." One would think that if they have not yet learned such a simple fact that such players are stupid or uncoachable.
