I find it humorous and sad that the USA, having had their feelings hurt by a couple of gold medal losses to the Russians in Olympic basketball now send teams of NBA all-stars to try and recapture the gold. granted, some other countries now have an NBA player, but aren't loaded up like a "softball team trying to win a tournament".

Certainly cheapens the medal.

What are you talking about Poon? The best players from each nation should compete. All the other nations send their professional athletes why should the United States feel guilty about sending its professional athletes.

Bullish. This other country's have been playing there pros forever and most of those squads have either an NBA player or an NBA caliber type on the team. It was time that we stopped the madness with our amatures going against there pros. what is sad is the dream team would have never come close to losing. fundamental b-ball is almost a thing of the past. alomst that is...its still some guy out there who get it

Daily Horoscope for May 24

Aquarius

In complete contrast to yesterday, you have your head screwed on firmly today. Yet you won't be boringly sensible or drearily practical, so there's no danger of you having turned into a dry old stick overnight. It's a good day for keeping track of important details and processes, such as confirming a forthcoming appointment or filling in a form and then making a copy of it before sending it off.
