I still say that all of this is unnecesary as Chris Quinn will be the starting point guard this season. He'll run all over Bell. He'll be an all star. He'll get a super model girlfriend. He'll get his own tv show. He'll be elected to the senate. Then, he'll be given an ownership stake in the Heat. End of story.

Watch the Charlie Bell youtube video. He can jack a 3 with the best of them. He's quick too. He will be a good signing for the heat. Spreading the floor and making smart plays. I don't know haw good his D is, but he is fast.
Chris Quinn will keep the bench warm again this season.

Charlie Bell can't shoot threes any better than his uncle. And he's slower than his uncle.
Austrians don't know squat about hoops, it shows in their comments.

Charlie Bell's best year was last year where he averaged over 30 minutes per game because everyone was injured on the Bucks. He peaked in his contract year (35% FG% and less than 3 assists per game) and will be 33 at the end of his 5-year contract (if we don't have to eat the contract before then). Why didn't Riley get Pietrus from Golden State?

He scored 13 points a game last year....that would be 3rd best for the Heat. Anyway, that is a good signing. 3 months ago Heat had only Payton and Quinn and undersized and broken down Williams at the guard positions besides Wade. Now they have quicker, faster, more atheletic guys in Parker, Cook, and Bell. That is an upgrade. That's all one can ask for. No one is going to give their arms and legs away. Do you guys think other teams work for the Heat? Get real. And that would be a better defensive backcourt with Wade and Bell or Parker. They got burned every game by the other team's guards scoring 30 to 60 points.

Actually the Clippers were quick to match Brand's contract. Something like 3-4 days
