obviosly this is good, i was starting to prepare for the fact that odom will have to carry the team for the opener, i still think he will need to. Kobe's presense shud be good, but odom will need to ultimately lead the team. over the long haul of the season is odom and bryant both carry the side...it will be much better come playoff time in terms of freshness and also, teams will have to worry about which guy to double!!

I just hope he's not rushing himself... i don't want us to lose kobe half way down the season. Maybe he should wait one more week. What's a couple of games? hmmm i don't know about this!

yeh i hope he doesnt get injured either...i think he should not do as much out on the floor and let odom take over. kobe's presence will just help the team i think!

a good start to this season i think with all the home games will be about 13-7, dont ya think? i know andrew bynum thinks about 15-5, but there are a couple of tough games in there against good teams, and they are going to have to prove to me they can beat these teams. i think our road record last year was somfin like 19-22, if we do that again or try to improve it, ill be happy, but i realy want them to protect home court. we shud really get a home record or somfin like 31-10. that would give us about 50 wins. i believe that they can defeat nearly anyone at home.

just read on espn, that bryant is close but not ready yet...so it seems he will bee out for this game, oh well...it is sad b'cos i want him out there to give us the best chance to win, but i understand, he cannot rush this, or it will bite us in the long run, i look for us to be competitive, and i look for odom to really show everyone hes going to be awesom this year, we will also see wat mo evens can do and andrew bynum hopefully can dominate to give us a chance to win...kobe missing this game is not the end of the world, its ONE game.

that's right... Kobe made a good choice by not playing... He needs to be ok for the rest of the season. Lamar is comint along... and how about Evans!! what did i say last week about Evans!! The man can play! and Bynum? hehe.. he's capable of averaging 20pts within two years. I don't see that happening right now though. They did play a team with no inside presence!

Time and patience will heal Kobe physically.

Congrats to the Lakers on their victory against Phoenix! Odom, Evans and Bynum and the rest of the team looked exciting and promising for the 2006-2007 season. Good luck Lakers!

fantastic start by these guys!! but we gotta beat golden state tonite too, we cant be happy with what we have done, and its possible there could be a let down after last nite! again golden state doesnt really have an inside presense so we must attack. go after jason richardson, hes had the same thing as kobe this off season, so attack him. Watch out for Baron Davis, hes gonna be back this season!
