look phil it's obvious if someone disagrees with YOU, you like to try and turn it around like we aren't paying attention to your posts. BELIEVE ME WE ARE. so if you said you put up the link. find the link again and post it up again. or just do what everyone would like you to do. shove some fries in your mouth. like i said to you before. if jj reddicks defense was that great he should have had no problem getting off the bench. you and the rest of the jj reddick testicles fan club seem to want to make it a personal issue. jj is more of a defensive liability then even pat garrity is so quit your complaining and lets see what otis has up his sleeves.
This link seems to show what Otis has up his sleeve, but from my take of your post you won't like.

i have no problem with it if it's going to better the team. its just tiresome when folks want to hate on otis for a coach not playing someone when they are 1. not ready or 2.just plain not good enough. people should think more objectively because it doesn't look like otis or stan is doing a bad job. it's a huge turn around from 4 years ago.

I actually think that this will be the year that JJ gets to see some substanial PT. The signing of Pietrus gives solid defense at the 2 and 3 posistions which would allow him to guard the oppositions best wing player while JJ focuses on offense. I think any trades will include Bogans and Cook. They are both shooters which will be appealing plus they will both be expiring contracts this season which will be even more appealing to some teams wanting to be players in the Wade, Lebron sweepstakes next offseason. I could see a Bogans,Cook for Wilcox or possibly a Bogans or Cook for David Lee. New Jersey is in a rebuilding phase and is hoping to make room for Lebron so a Bogans, Cook for Marcus Williams and Josh Boone may work. Whatever the case, I think JJ will still be here and see some PT other than garbage minutes in the fourth quarter of a blow out.

that is a very good thought. i agree. the signing may actually allow jj to play kind of a john paxson or steve kerr type role. bogans under the current circumstances could be the odd man out along with cook or some other combination and i like the options you mentioned. that would be pretty good return and it could happen.

Yep,,Steve Kerr is exactly the name that comes to my mind. I think JJ is a bit better all around than Kerr however. I would like to see the Williams and Boone trade happen. It's all in my mind though, there aren't any rumors of it. I do know that the contracts work. I think Marcus Williams would make a great backup here. He is 6'3" and is a pass first guy.

The Nets would love to get rid of Williams he has been a huge disappointment to them.
Here are his numbers I hope you notice that he averaged 2.6 assist last year and he shot below 40% in fact his numbers from last season are worse then his numbers in his rookie year which were nothing to write home about.

37.9 fg, 38.0 3pt, 78.7 ft, 2.6 ast,
1.4 TO, 5.9 ppg.
He had the same amount of minutes from his rookie season, but all of his numbers just got worse. So Yes the Nets are shopping him around which is of no surprise after looking at these numbers considering he is a pg.
For a pg who is a "pass first" pg he doesn't have that many assists per game.

So I do think that I would pass on Williams just not a great pg not even a good one at that.

one thing that has to be considered is that guy has had to play behind jason kidd most of his time so far and now devin harris. not a big excuse for poor stats but if here were brought here maybe you get a bigger point guard who can push for jameer's spot. could work, but obviously if there is a better option out there for cook and bogans you want to take that. if boone and williams are your return for we are offering, i don't see them being a bad haul particularly if you add a point guard vet like anthony johnson to balance things out, for the vet minimum of course.

Don't mock the Corp. There are too many great Marines that risk their lives everyday so pansies like you can antagonize people and be safe. You couldn't make it one day in the Corp. You probably couldn't make it in the Air Force.
stick to worshiping JJ and leave the USMC out of your mouth.
Trust another Redick hater in making a post disgusting and only worthly of reporting abuse. Which by the way I did.
BTW the Orlando Sentinel I am sorry to say did it again made up an interview with Redick. Instead the real interview Redick did with Denton where he said that he wants to stay in Orlando and play for the Magic as well. Otis Smith concurred that there are no plans to trade Redick instead Bogans will be the trade bait for the Magic.
Redick has a future with the Magic Otis said.
So you can go somewhere else and post your smut since it doesn't fit here and Redick is staying not leaving and no the interview I am sure you enjoyed he Redick didn't do with the Orlando Sentinel just another pipedream from the O.S.

Sophemore slup. He had decent numbers as a rookie. I think he finished with 267 assist his rookie year backing up J-kidd. I think it's worth a gamble. He's got good size at 6'3". He also played in a pretty screwed up system. I really don't think one bad year out of only two in the league should cause him to be labled a bust yet. Although, Tensley had a good rookie season then fell apart. I still think I would gamble. You could always sign Jason Williams with the VE as insurance.

I have no idea, maybe you do since it looks like you looked into M Williams a bit. What was his assist per 48min? I know he didn't get much PT in New Jersey. Usually when he did get on the floor, he didn't have the best targets. I know in college he looked to have what it takes to run the PG spot in the NBA. I remember scouts said him to be one of the top PG's in his draft class. I know that doesn't mean much. You think Livingston would be a better gamble?

Is sniffing JJ's socks getting you high??? I didn't say anything about JJ. I directed a comment to your buddy LMAO about referencing the USMC in a disrespectful way. How you got JJ bashing from that is beyond me.

all this jj blind devotion man love really needs to end. 2 different coaches already decided that he's not good enough defensively. if he was he would see some pt but he's not. GET OVER IT. that being said. ship him out for a servicable back up and orlando might see the eastern confrence finals.

You didn't read my post. I was talking about ........who bash people who are in support of Redick. That is not the same.
When you see someone saying something good about Redick you see red instead of the actual post that is the problem with your posting and a couple of others like the one who posted right before this post.

Right now J. Williams is better then M. Williams when it comes to a player who can play pg the right way as in getting his teammates involved.
I once thought that Livingston might be a thought, but every time he plays he has to go through an hour with the trainers and then afterwards he has to go through the same kind of care.
That tells me that Livingston has not recovered from that terrible injury that happened to him. So no to Livingston.
As to M. Williams the Nets have been trying to get rid of him since his first season. One of the things that I read in the NJ papers was that he is considered lazy. He doesn't work enough on his game to get to the level that fits the NBA.
Like so many have said there is a big difference between the NBA and College.

M.Williams stats for his rookie season
.395 FG%,.282 3P%,.847 FT%, 1.8 TO

3.3 AST, 6.8 PTS.
Rookie season total AST's 260, total minutes played 1312, 79 games.

Soph season total AST's 140, total minutes played 856, 53 games.
He has injury problems this season and some NJ papers said called him lazy didn't like working out enough to improve his game.

The Magic have never giving him a fair shot and they should do the right thing and trade him to a team that will. He is too good a shooter to be collecting rust on a bench.
