Full story: The Indianapolis Star

Indiana Pacers center Jeff Foster joked after Wednesday's game against Golden State that he felt like he was 41 years old in the first half because, as he put it, he was trying to get "his treadmill hamstrings ...

The best lineup The Pacers can put on the floor is...

PG Diener
SG Rush
SF Dunleavy
PF Granger
C Foster

Give Daniels, Williams, Murphy and Diogu heavy minutes off of the bench.

The JO era is a bust and just was not the centerpiece around which to build a team. Time to move on to a new approach.

Jeff Foster is in the same boat as David Lee in NY.

Except Pacers are contending for a playoff spot; Knicks (should be) rebuilding.

Both Foster and Lee should be getting more minutes, but for different reasons.

Still, I'd take a 50% healthy JO over Randolph/Curry tandem any day of the week.

We'll trade you JO for Jamaal Crawford, Jared Jeffries and Fred Jones.

Deal?

we need more players like Foster.... always ready, classy guy - other NBA players could take a page out of his book!
I would pay to see a whole team full of players with Foster's work ethic, win or lose. No, this is NOT a racial comment.

This wont be the first time that Foster has uplifted the Pacers. He always plays hard and normally maintains a good attitude dispite the seemingly fast whistles by refs charging him with fouls. If he whined and cried like Kobe, Shaq, Wade and some of the other whiz kids he would only last about 5-minutes. Keep up the good work Jeff.

You obviously missed my point.
It's JO for Randolph and Curry.
That's the deal, if any.

your hustle guy, your guy that doesn't need the ball to be effective, your dirty work guy, your best rebounder gets 2 ninutes a game, hhhhmmmmmm. Wonder why there is a loosing streak?
certain players are better suited to play against certain players. Mark Jackson was the best PG we had, but there were some teams we played against we could and should have used Travis Best a little more. Sit Jackson??? sounds stupid but could have been a good move at times. Plus with Foster, you know what your gonna get, coach might be just searching for what could work with the other guys.

Sit O'Neal and Tinsley for this game tonight and see how good this team can be now and in the future. I say run the basketball down the King's throats and see what happens.
yep obviously JO needs rest, let practice be his games, Jamaal could sit for a month, he needs the time to cool off it will give Daniels, Diener and Owens quality time together

if only we could find a 3rd party team in the deal who wants Jeffries, Jones. Jones was a high action player, but when he decides to pass the ball is gonna be in the hands of the other team. WE wanted him to play PG and he couldn't take care of the ball enough. Both he and Jeffries are over-paid, do we need more guys that appear to be. Jones would fit in nicely on a team like Phoenix where the ball wouldn't be in his hands so much. Would they be nice enough to give us Marion for the 2? If so I'm sure we could get a HIGH 1st rounder out of him, OR send him and Crawford to Milwaukee for Michael Redd. IDK but I feel the Pacers are better off starting over with young players in a search for our next leader than we are starting with a proven veteran that could very easily become fed-up by this time next season.

I was making a counter offer.

Not a chance on that deal.
