This trade makes me sick and I wouldn't be surprised that O.J. Mayo wins Rookie of the Year honors just like Brandon Roy.

Hey Freddy Hoiberg... so, how did that taste... your boys roll you out to the media, telling YOU that we're keeping Mayo and then in true T-Wolve fashion trade the guy. Well Freddy, look at it this way, you only lost all credibility with fans, media, national media and the entire NBA.
Fred might want to check out who's included in that deal... he might have been packaged along with Mayo.
You wanna hear me freestyle!!!

Hey Freddie how does McHale's ass taste?

We never should have gotten rid of KG. But, I am happy for him and finally having a championship. GO KG and the Celtics!

I still can't believe McHale screwed this up. It was so easy--Draft Mayo, Chris Douglas-Roberts and DeAndre Jordan. Just plain and simple. So easy. But McHale can't even get that right. Mayo is a potential all-star and would be a great fit with Foye and Jefferson. CDR is an unbelievable shooter and Jordan is a developing 7 footer who can block shots. Instead we end up with Kevin Love who is an undersized center at 6'8" and will take playing time from Craig Smith and Gomes? You should be fired McHale.

I am hard-core Minnesota pro and college sports. But I have come to the reluctant conclusion that the T Wolves are so profoundly internally dysfunctional, that even if something goes well, it is not by design. I certainly hope Mr. Love is a fine NBA player, and that Mr. Miller contributes, but it is foolish to think that this trade will accomplishe much more than adding a few wins to the annually dismal total. On the other hand, OJ Mayo and Jefferson are more than a good start toward constructing a very good BB team. I will always admire Kevin McHale for what he accomplished as a college and professional athlete, but unfortunately this memory is forever tarnished by his professional stewardship of the T Wolves. Sad.

BOYCOTT THE TIMBERWOLVES. Lets have the target center be completely empty for home games. Maybe they will get the point that McHail needs to go. HOW THE HELL DOES HE STILL HAVE THIS JOB!?!?!

allen and roy---can McHale screw up 3 for 3.?

there is nothing stranger than a ranger.

I like then both ---mayo and love.
love is youngger and has a better pedigree and a 28 on his ACT.
Mayo intelligence is questionable.

I don't see what all the hate on Love is. Love ran a good 3.22 3/4 court sprint which is actually slightly faster than Michael Beasley who ran a 3.24. Love also has an identical vertical leap to Michael Beasley an impressive 35 inches despite still being 30 lbs heavier. Love is an "extremely" underrated athlete.

I admit Love loses some lateral quickness to Beasley for sure, but Love is a baller. You T-Wolve fans have to stop the fawning over O.J Mayo, you already have a combo guard in Foye. Love will be an Elton Brand type player in the NBA.

And just think even if things don't go well this year, you may have a shot at a Steve Nash/ Jason Kidd type point guard in Ricky Rubio next year and can then move Foye to SG. Just think a lineup of PG Ricky Rubio, SG Randy Foye, SF Mike Miller, PF Kevin Love and C Al Jefferson. I think that could bring a championship down the road to Minnesota with Craig Smith, Sebastian Telfair and other solid guys coming off the bench.

Plus I may add Kevin Love is a great rebounder and one of the best passing big men the college game has seen in the last 30 years. Love has been compared to Bill Walton and Wes Unseld. Love isn't quite as athletic as Elton Brand, but he is an impressive athlete none the less. Love will be an NBA all-star down the road, you wait and see. Love is unstoppable in the post 1 on 1. Love's only weakness is that he might not have the lateral quickness to guard a Garnett, Dirk or Amare Stotomayor type player. But he has proved to be a good shot blocker in college on help defense.

Do you have any evidence on why Mayo will be good? I saw him get shut down by solid guards during the UCLA game a few times and against other well played teams as well, Love will help Jefferson is with all the double teams Miller will help us out, hes a shooter finally, we didnt have one before, Mayo cannot drive and Foye can! YOU LOSE, I WIN, SIT DOWN A SEAT A TAKE.

Let's give this thing a little time. I'm not a McHale fan, but I think Love will do O.K. Who's to say Mayo will be a star. We received Mike Miller in the trade & he's already established he's a pretty good player. Love may turn out to be pretty good. Please give it a year or two. The Wolves would have sold more tickets with Mayo, but O.J. didn't really seem thrilled about coming here. Love wants to be here.

Also, please stop using the Allen/Marbury trade as a screw up by the Wolves. Ray Allen never would have been drafted by the Wolves if it wasn't for Marbury. If you remember correctly, McHale & the wolves liked Kerry Kittles more than Ray Allen & would have drafted Kittles if not for Marbury coming out. They drafted Allen because Milwaukee wanted Ray Allen. They thought Allen would fall to New Jersey & were going to make the trade with the nets. We hopped on Allen & they had to deal with us. Ray Allen was never in the picture, he never would have played here. So if you want to judge the deal, compare Marbury with Kerry Kittles. Just another piece to show what a poor evaluator of talent McHale is!!!!!!

“Good luck with that”

Garnett couldn't even pass his college entrance exams... did that hurt his basketball skills?
