State's should decide what they want and what they don't want.
Why encourage those who could get a job; to go on unemployment?
Anybody receiving unemployment should be doing community service to help.
Gee, Obama ....oh, sorry Nancy "stillbrow" Pelosi forgot to include the need to do some work in order to get unemployment funds.
Put them to work painting graffiti, clearing out debris on vacant lots, planting landscape material, pressure cleaning dirty sidewalks, cleaning park restrooms, mowing grass.
If they want compensation from the government, the government must insist on reciprocal work for the community, city, and state they reside in.
What's wrong with these lawmakers?
Vote in local, state and federal races to put in candidates that don't give your money away, rush through legislature, and do not think things through.
The legislators, commissioners, councilmen, school board members must make responsible fiscal decisions.
There are only 8-9 percent who are in foreclosure. The rest of us pay our mortgages. Those who fail are rewarded by this president.
Are you angry about that? The president is hoping that the moral 90% of mortgage payers will not decide to forgo paying their mortgages so that they can then claim they need government assistance.
The MORAL HAZARD is what Obama is hoping doesn't occur. That others stop paying their mortgages to get government assistance.
What the 90% needs to do is start voting for the candidates on ALL levels of government that will start to reward those who do the right thing, not the wrong thing.
All those that charged, bought and spoiled themselves will have their "bills" paid by taxpayers.(They still get to keep all they bought) though we pay the bill.
2010 vote out democrats, those " 'rats " have supported the wrong cause. Support candidates that allow working people to keep their money.
Obama and his ilk should be voted out of office.
But beware, Obama has rigged the stimulus to almost run out just before the 2012 election. DON'T BE FOOLED TWICE!!
Vote for governors who are fiscally responsible and who isn't afraid of the media's focus, but secure in their beliefs.
